Sono sempre io Mario dall'Italy
Ho montato l'inverter ambit sul monitor w1700 e il tutto funziona però è rimasto il primo difetto che avevo all'orrigine cioè una riga che divide in due lo schermo del monitor, vi invio la foto che evidenzia il difetto
Prego qualcuno di risolvere questo problema.

I have climbed on the inverter ambit on the monitor w1700 and the everything it works however the first defect that I had that is to the orrigine a line that divides in two the screen of the monitor has remained, I send you the photo that the defect underlines
I beg someone to resolve this problem.

try to find a datasheet of the transistor in question.
Then look at the pinout.
If it is a MOSFET chek for short between gate - source , gate - drain and source drain.
But keep in kind, there are some MOSFET with integrated protection diode, thus this coul couase erounouse readings.

Bipolar transistors are similar.
For detailed instruction goolge abvouth sci faq, read the SMPS repair faq.

i don't know if they can be found/crossreferenced. i have look and nothing. no data sheets either. maybe it could be a generic one but how wants to do the trial and error associated with finding the right one. a schematic would help. if current values were know, a suitable replacement could be substituted. an electrical engineer could figure it out.

i know that these companies carry more that just caps. i have searched there wedsites and cat. only to come up short. i have looked for a manufacture with a capital 'A' in the circls, nothing. i have asked the sellers of the boards of they could help, nothing.
i won't give up just yet but i can see how a link to digikey ect. is going to help.

This forum is a veritable gift. I am working on a W1700 with the described problem and yes, one of the fuses is open. I have the capacitors (Rubycon) but not the fuses. But one thing is bothering me.

Some posts refer to fuses soldered over, or fuses failing repeatedly. We are working with a switching power supply, which means waveforms with short rise-times and high peak currents. In shopping for parts I notice that chip fuses are available as slow-blow and quick-blow types. I'm thinking what is really needed here is a slow-blow fuse, but I don't have any manufacturer's data. I don't want to assume - we all know how that turns out! Input anyone?
