I still have this system on my computer. It has worked quite well over the years and still sounds superb. Music is smooth and clear. Newer systems I tried don't give me that 'thump' I like to hear. Good one, budm.

These are good systems and worth repair/recap. I have an ACS48 coming in for repair and it looks really well built.
You can change out the LM324 for a better op-amp with less cross-over distortion, which cleans it up.

Hello Redwire, can you tell me what to replace the KIA324P with and should I replace both, that's if I get them working again.

I know the LM324 has a gritty sound/mid-range blare to it due to the cross-over distortion so I change them out. Quad op-amp alternates:
LM837 is older and drop in. OPA4134 is very good as well.
The LM833 and OPA2134 are the high performance duals, to ditch the NJM4560 but it is not as bad.

AOC CQ27G2U/BK - in need of data sheets
                by David Stroe
I am trying to repair my monitor that shows image but the backlight is not turning on. I think either the power supply is not working properly or the LED strip is failing, which seems unlikely (the whole strip is off).

I really need help in finding the data sheets for this monitor's boards. The data sheets I need are for the following boards:

                Power Supply: 715GA907-P03-000-001S and 715GA721-P01-000-0H4K
                Main Board: 715G9500-M0C-B00-005K
                T-CON Board: 19Y_270_EU3MQ_SR_V02_HF

If someone could please provide any of these data sheets, it would be awesome....

                clean hisense inner sheets
                by Raulnn
Can you clean the internal sheets of a tv? I have a 58-inch TV and I don't know if it's worth cleaning the sheets. I have seen that it has dirt on the sheets and the leds are blown. I don't know if they look good when you clean the sheets. Thanks in advance.

Intel iMacs, 3rd party SSD failures and Fusion setups
                by reformatt
I thought I'd throw out some of my personal experiences in the last 12 months with Intel iMacs, 2.5" SATA SSD drives and Fusion drive data recoveries.

As a backgrounder, Apple never fitted a 2.5" SSD's to these iMacs. Apple's SSD option was a system of 32GB NVMe blade drive (NGFF connector) and Seagate 1TB 2.5" HDD, married together in software to become a Fusion drive. Non Fusion systems have just the 1TB Seagate HDD.

So, the most common reason an iMac comes across my bench is because it's either ridiculously slow, or it fails to boot at all. The most...

                Hello everyone,

I’m currently working on a project focused on diagnosing and reconstructing the control electronics of RS1 / RS Welding Systems Leipzig (WIG-STEUERUNG) welders.
I’m looking for the schematic diagram or any technical documentation of the main control board labeled 906383 / 906384, used in RS1 TIG/MMA welding machines.

                The board includes:
                • two UBICOM TDS38070 microcontrollers,
                • EEPROM 24C256,
                • analog ICs such as LM358, TL062, MC33153, MAX4515,
                • a gas valve control section (BD135 / IRF8G30 / optocouplers P621),
                • connectors labeled Display, Netzteil,
                ...
