Hello, help please. A tip. The Harman / Kardon AVR370 receiver - the standby indicator on the fleet flashes orange. The PSU board does not show any damage, e.g. in the sense of visible damage or burning of any element. On the board is the OB2358APL converter - on pins 5 and 6 there is a voltage of about 330V, on pins 1 and 2 there is a voltage that varies between 8 and 11 V. Most of the elements have been checked, while the electrolytic capacitors have been replaced with new ones. Trafo TF91 is not short circuited. In another forum in the discussion, which concerned sampling of this converter under load, one of the forum members suggested that if the R932 and D911 are in good working order, the chip should be replaced.

by PowellSkierA Harman/Kardon AVR 645 repair has been a hobby of mine for the past several years. My latest attempt involved the purchase of a DOA unit for part swapping and testing. The original AVR would power up then shut down after a few seconds. I completely tore down both units, found a couple of bad components and reassembled one of them. Same issue, no speakers connected. After extensive research I found a repair document from Harman/Kardon that explains the protection circuit in fantastic detail and provides specific test points for each fault (power, DC detection, overload & power) and the voltage...

by madsoxGreetings!
Thank you in advance for your understanding, I am writing to you through a translator.
A Harman Kardon AVR171S amplifier was given.
The history of the machine is as follows:
It was faulty when I bought it, I want to fix it.
I replaced the HDMI switch and one of the DAC ICs in it.
After that it worked without a problem.
I watched a movie using the amplifier, and at the end the amplifier got really hot.
The cooling was faulty, I will fix this later.
I switched it to standby mode, waited for...-

by unilogicMy AVR-355 switches itself to standby mode after a few minutes, when it becomes warm. If I turn it back on, it doesn't shut off anymore and can run for hours. If I let it cool down for a few hours and then turn it on again, it shuts off again after a few minutes. But no more problems if I turn it back on immediately. This always happens, even if the device is not connected to anything. I don't see a "protect" message or anything special. The device simply goes to standby (amber power button)
I did a complete reset of the CPU, but the problem persists...
I have attached...-
