This last spring, i grabbed this two-channel gate/compressor/limiter off eBay for almost dirt-cheap, as "faulty". Only needed a power supply re-cap
As it turns out though, it seems that channel 2 has some sort of issues with lower temperatures. I've had it hooked up into my system for a few months now, for testing purposes, as it were. And i noticed that, on cooler evenings, as i had my window open (less than 2m away from it, the 1066 being on the floor), channel 2 would just cut out. Most of the times, it comes back to life if i toggle the -10/+4dB switch on the back.
From what i've seen in the schematic, that switch only alters the internal working levels, and not the output.
I'd appreciate at least some pointers as to where to direct my attention and/or what the most likely culprit might be.
