Hello,
I've been given an Alba CBB16 radio to look at. The issue was no sound from either speakers when switching to the radio. They'd just be some buzzing/static. I did some troubleshooting and found that if I mess with the switch in certain ways, the sound cuts in and out on the right channel speaker. It'll go from quiet with some static/buzzing to really loud and clear depending on how the switch is moved. This told me that the radio at least has an issue with this switch.
The switch appears to be broken on the inside causing a poor connection. I tried cleaning it up a bit with some 99% IPA, but it did not work. I ended up de-soldering the switch to try and take a look inside. I got it open and could see there is damage. Some metal pieces that come into contact with the pins on the mini board look damaged.
I'm wondering if it's possible to buy a replacement switch for this radio and if anyone knows where to buy them (I'm in the UK). The switch has a cover that attaches to it, so it needs to be a certain size to fit this cover.
Here's some images of the switch:

Appreciate any help with this.
