yes replace with same . also be sure the bias tracking tracking transistors are good . -
Hi don't worry it's just dirty, anyway thanks for the reply, I found those cable almost broken then I resolder them, but in one side the resistor doesn't getting hot anymore, then in the other side blown up another resistor and two transistor in the heatsink circled red on picture, now they are different, 2 marks on it TOSHIBA 2SA1943 and the others are TOSHIBA 2SC500 . Can I replaced all whit the same mark or i must replaced different like they are now? Thanks for the reply 👍3 PhotosLeave a comment:

Hold on you just know Where's the problem?( i see what might be a burned capacitor next to a driver transistor) how can you know that through a picture ..? Really...Leave a comment:

Hi, thanks for the reply, the resistor that I marked with arrow yellow, then I changed both transistor red colour but nothing changed (also I changed also that resistor still getting hot about 100/150 degrees. No i didn't take measurements, I just go ahead with testing transistor mosfet on the heatsink...2 PhotosLeave a comment:

what is getting hot ?
looking at the pics i see what might be a burned capacitor next to a driver transistor .
have you measured dc voltages at the speaker outs ? and also the voltages across the low ohm emitter resistors next to the outputs ?Leave a comment:

Hi that's right! But if can't find what cause this problem, I mean I already checked all of transistor out of circuit with a peak meter and those are good... So what components can cause the resistor getting hot! There's schematic board for this model? Or it's too holder?? Thanks all of you foto the replyLeave a comment:

Guys I just received the thermal camera, finally I've been waiting for a month. Anyway there's something that get really hot!! See Guys1 PhotoLeave a comment:

is it possible the input is too hot ?
do any vol controls work ?Leave a comment:

you need to see how many transistors are damaged and replace or you will keep burning up resistors .Leave a comment:

by Sik_6ty_SixxSo like the title says, I have an old Stereo Receiver/Amplifier that I picked up from the goodwill, it's a HH Scott Model A510. When I first got it home it had zero output. Opened it up, notice the fuses are missing. Pop in 2 new fuses (AGC4A 250V) and try again, within 5 seconds the L channel fuse POP! I don't see any visible indications of damage or arc burns on the PCB, no popped resistors or diodes, no burnt traces or blown out caps. So I decide to just try another new fuse, POP. Swapped around my R and L speaker wires, and checked the integrity of all wires and connections. Everything looks...5 Photos

by HypersapienHowdy folks! I'm an artist in the video game industry, and my job entails making a lot of mechanical and sci fi assets. I thought it might be a good practice to start disassembling some electronics to be more familiar with how real electronics are manufactured and assembled, which is how i found my way to these forums.
When I started researching what tools I might need, I quickly encountered the warning "Some devices can maintain a potentially lethal charge in their capacitors, even up to years after last being powered on", which was enough of a scary thought for me to... -

by FuzzyOwlHi, I have a Denon AVR-X3600H I'm trying to repair. I have no electronics repair experience but I have a multimeter, service manual and a will to fix it (https://device.report/m/d5de8c00e617...f63147aba9.pdf)
Everything seems to work except for no sound even through the pre outs. However I will get sound using Zone 2 pre outs.
Only digital symptom I can tell is it will soft lock when in the Speakers/Test Tone menu and be unable to adjust +/- db during the test tone.
I've followed the trouble shooting guide, audio check...1 Photo-

by abajorI'm about to take a journey into repairing this 3 Channel ICE amp. It's got a bunch of fun components I am not familiar with like Direct Stream Digital chips. It also has some onboard Digital Signal Processor which I haven't identified yet.
I am not familiar with ICE amp circuits other than they are a type of PWM amplifier so I'm assuming they require a ton of high frequency filtering on the output. I'm also assuming that the output of the DSD chips probably directly feed the ICE amp signal since DSD is also essentially PWM or creating an averaged AC signal using high frequency ~2MHz...-
