Hi thanks a lot for the reply, the voltage is about 8 voltage. The datasheet don't tells me anything about voltage only the ohms1 PhotoLeave a comment:

what does the datasheet say for the resistor ? you can calculate the current by measuring the voltage right across itLeave a comment:

Hi i already changed the pico capacitor, I changed all of them. But stil it doesn't work that resistor still getting HOT as you can see on the picture . Honestly guys I don't know what I should do. 😔 thanks to all3 PhotosLeave a comment:

Hi I'm sorry for the late, anyway I measured in the back side I don't have any voltages ,then in the input side I have a very high ohm. . You can see on pictures here. And thanks to all for the reply 🙏 I really hope we can fix this amplifier it's a nightmare 🙄2 PhotosLeave a comment:

Hi guys i replaced those components on the heatsink and the resistor that blown up. So I test it with phone to read input and it works but I can't slow down the volume on the front pannel, so I check the board and the same resistor going almost 80/90 degrees ... it's normal? Before was really hot 150 degrees.. thanks to all for the replyLeave a comment:

Hi guys, what about those resistor they have similar mark on the board but as you can see the similar is different... is strange isn't Thank you1 PhotoLeave a comment:

by Sik_6ty_SixxSo like the title says, I have an old Stereo Receiver/Amplifier that I picked up from the goodwill, it's a HH Scott Model A510. When I first got it home it had zero output. Opened it up, notice the fuses are missing. Pop in 2 new fuses (AGC4A 250V) and try again, within 5 seconds the L channel fuse POP! I don't see any visible indications of damage or arc burns on the PCB, no popped resistors or diodes, no burnt traces or blown out caps. So I decide to just try another new fuse, POP. Swapped around my R and L speaker wires, and checked the integrity of all wires and connections. Everything looks...5 Photos

by HypersapienHowdy folks! I'm an artist in the video game industry, and my job entails making a lot of mechanical and sci fi assets. I thought it might be a good practice to start disassembling some electronics to be more familiar with how real electronics are manufactured and assembled, which is how i found my way to these forums.
When I started researching what tools I might need, I quickly encountered the warning "Some devices can maintain a potentially lethal charge in their capacitors, even up to years after last being powered on", which was enough of a scary thought for me to... -

by FuzzyOwlHi, I have a Denon AVR-X3600H I'm trying to repair. I have no electronics repair experience but I have a multimeter, service manual and a will to fix it (https://device.report/m/d5de8c00e617...f63147aba9.pdf)
Everything seems to work except for no sound even through the pre outs. However I will get sound using Zone 2 pre outs.
Only digital symptom I can tell is it will soft lock when in the Speakers/Test Tone menu and be unable to adjust +/- db during the test tone.
I've followed the trouble shooting guide, audio check...1 Photo-

by abajorI'm about to take a journey into repairing this 3 Channel ICE amp. It's got a bunch of fun components I am not familiar with like Direct Stream Digital chips. It also has some onboard Digital Signal Processor which I haven't identified yet.
I am not familiar with ICE amp circuits other than they are a type of PWM amplifier so I'm assuming they require a ton of high frequency filtering on the output. I'm also assuming that the output of the DSD chips probably directly feed the ICE amp signal since DSD is also essentially PWM or creating an averaged AC signal using high frequency ~2MHz...-
