    Dynaudio BMA5 MKII pops

Hi everyone, i have a problem with one of my speakers..
it suddenly makes some pop noise..it's not continuous , it happens randomly..let's say every hour or so..not at fixed times..
initially i thought it was a problem coming from the soundcard, so i swapped the
signal cables but the pops still come out from the same speaker..so is not..
i left it without the cable in and in a few hours i had no pops..but as soon as i plug the line in it starts again..
so i thought that it might be some capacitor that is failing and discharges suddenly causing the pops..i guess is in the tweeter but i'm not 100% sure of it.
am i at risk of blowing the tweeter if so?
Does anyone , or did, have the same kind of problem? even in other speakers..
my warranty has won already so i guess i'll take care of it myself..

i only saw another post here( and in the rest of the web ) that has some pics of the inside..it might help

    many many thanks in advance
    Vinny

LTO PS 4LA Powerred Speakers - Tweeter Audio Low
    by willis6732
Hello, I have two of these speakers with the same Prioblem. The tweeter volume is very low. I believe it happened after running them too loud.

There is a lightbulb on the tweeter output i tried shorting and no change.

The tweeters measure 6 ohms and it seems to play loud if i plug them into an alternate amplifier

There are a couple resistors and diode getting really hot in the mute circuit...

At the bottom left of image. R17 gets the hottest. Over 70 deg C
Z1 and R7 next to that get hot as well. Zener tests ok
    I measured the...

Speakers damaged from children. Can this tweeter be repaired?
    by goodpsusearch
I got these speakers that seem to be damaged from the previous owners small children.

As you can see on the first pic, the tweeter's outer membrane has been totally ripped.

I also post another pic with the other speaker that survived...

    Is this beyond repair?

I have no clue about soft dome tweeters.

    Asus x512ja suddenly no boot
    by ss45
    Hi guys

Initially board wasn't able to turn on due to short on 19v and some liquid damage on the back side(keyboard facing side)

After cleaning and removing short it ran normal for a while able to boot into windows, ran some update.

Here is the kicker, for several times it would suddenly freeze. Initially force restart ING fixed that and the laptop would be able to boot again into Windows normally, after some runs would freeze again.

Until, suddenly it just hangs and unable to post anymore. orange charging light wouldn't turn on on plugging adapter...

Monster Power HTS 5100 MKII Power Center
    by ggil44
Hello, I have a Monster HTS 5100 MKII Power center I am having trouble isolating the short circuit. On the primary input board I measure 0 ohms from the power to the neutral and 0 ohms from power to ground. I tried removing the transformer because I heard that has been a problem but it made no difference. There were some traces on the circuit board that were melted and open so I re-soldered jumpers to reconnect them again (see area circled in yellow). Prior to that the HT-5100 power center would just flash a light labeled “Abnormal Voltage”. I am enclosing some pictures and would greatly appreciate...
