Im waiting on a plug for the adaptor ,as the one on the end ,don't fit ,as the pin on the device is too big.
One thing I noticed when buying one ,is there are a lot more DC adaptors than AC ones around.
Did you work out why the front panel works with the DC Adaptor.?

Hi, the front panel is working by DC because it doesn't need negative voltage. Minus 8 volts is only needed to power the chips operational amplifier .Comment

I got the Plug for the adaptor at last. A Nice Silver one.
Soldered it all up with Heatshtink included to make it ice and neat.
I plugged it in and hooked it up like a mixer and it works.
Im getting the audio through it.
I'll try a mic later on and mess with the effects a bit.
Ive had it a while and didn't know the adaptor was the wrong one.
Sad really.

so i took out one of my spare gigabyte ep35-ds3r mobos from storage for use to do some cpu, ram and video card testing of stuff i bought from ebay and got for free from momaka. he bought 50 e8400 cpus for cheap from ebay some years ago and i decided to help him relieve him of some of his supply since he had waaaay too many!!
what did we say about hoarding too much stuff and depriving others of them?! *cough* socialism *cough* lol!

I am currently trying to repair a Grundig Vision 9 37 9880 T USB LCD TV for a friend that has a weird audio problem. Basically everything works fine except for the heavily distorted sound when the Subwoofer module is connected and there is a buzzing sound coming from the PSU PCB.
This seems to be a rather rare TV so there is not much prior on topic help to be found however a service manual is available at the usual sources (Electro Tanya i.e.).
I think the PSU buzzing comes from one of the coils near the bridge rectifier but... -
