    receiver cap substitution ?

    hello,
    need some kind advice,

    Hallmark tube receiver,
with 3 caps in a can,

    100 uF 350v,
    80 uF 300v,
    60 uF 300v,

replaced the dead 100 uF 350v with 100 uF 450v,

but could not find any 80 uF nor 60 uF caps,

how important or critical is it to replace with same farad caps?

how will substituting two 100 uF 450v caps for the 80 + 60 uF caps,
    effect performance?

    thank you for your response

    Mouser has 82uf 350v and 68uf at 350v. About $2 each.

82uF and 68uF are (very) common values at 400 or 450V
that's about as close as you can get with standard values.

Since most electrolytics have pretty loose tolerances I suspect the 82uF and 68uF should work just fine for replacements.

Although not knowing too much about tube gear I might be completely wrong!

ending up replacing all three caps with 100 uF 450v,

          which works fine,

          thanks for responses,
          enjoy
