    KRK RP8 G2 pot. problem

Hi, I got pair of KRK RP8 G2 modded with new japanes high quality caps cleaned of that black gunk problem and I am very happy with them. but I got this small problem with one pot. don't know if it's potentionmeter or what I tried to change pot. cap with new one and tried to alligne pot cap to be on zero but it just won't align cause that teeth inside the pot cap won't sit where zero is, but on other speaker is as it should be. My question is, does anyone know if pot. replacement will solved the problem.

On Left speaker vol. pot is not in center ( 40 clicks total, 20 would be middle I even count it ), on the right it's in the middle 20 clicks.

Maybe just readjust the position of pot on the mounting plate?

Never did that before, any tutorial or something ?

Here are picture without pot caps (right is the one that is correctly alligned) so left one that looks like it's in center isn't in center when pot cap is on it, that one needs to be corrected somehow.

There is usually a nut holding the pot on the rear plate. Loosen it and you can move/ rotate the whole assembly for the white dot to match the marking on the panel

Is it still adjustable without nut ? Is that allen key look like plastic that nut for adjustment maybe ?

The hexagonal opening is actually connected to your wiper not an adjustment. Is that soldered crooked on board?

Not much to to unfortunately , I think. Only way to rotate is to resolder the pot at different angle, not worth messing with for such a small inconvenience

It doesn't look like much but I have pair of it and if you mess with volume for some music stuff often believe me it's annoying. Do you think new pot would solve the problem ?

                              Problem

This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....

The laptop was turned off because the MOSFET was not transmitting voltage. After checking it turned out that the gate pin on the MOSFET was the problem, because it was producing an inappropriate voltage. and it was discovered that the problem was with the Think engine, so I decided to reprint each pin, and finally the mosfet could work properly. However, there is another problem, even though the voltage has been supplied to the laptop, it still won't turn on, there isn't even an LED indicator. After double...

                              Good morning,
I have a problem with Lenovo T580, which after error code 0288 suggests a problem with the display. I checked the display and it works on another laptop. I replaced the display cable with a new one. I programmed another BIOS (downloaded from this forum) and I still have the problem of a dead display - there is an image via HDMI, and the system does not detect the built-in LCD at all. The problem appears to be hardware. What can I check to confirm or disprove this? I found many threads on the Internet related to this problem 0288, but without specific solutions. Please advise....

Hello, I have a Dell 15R-5521, with the problem that the Ctrl, Alt, Shitf and Num Lock keys do not work, I tested the keyboard with a keyboard tester and it is functional, I also got another new keyboard and the computer has the same problem with the same keys. Check continuity between the ZIF connector from the keyboard to the KBC and all pins are correct. I cleaned the ZIF connector and the KBC and I still have the same problem. I reinstalled windows just in case, and it didn't work. I updated the BIOS to the latest version A16 and there were no changes.
