    irfz34a Id max = 30A

    irfz34e ID max = 28A

Apart from that, the catalog notes look similar. I'd like to hear few opinions from more experienced players.

highly doubt it the part difference would cause instant overheating, you probably have some other short in the system that you missed.

iPad A2197 no power, A10 and other IC become warm, only 0.5A charge
            by proxneo
            Dear reader

TL;DR: iPad not turning on, A10 and power IC become (very) warm when attempted to turn on but this power-on cycle has a 'cooldown' period wherein powering on doesn't work, does not take more than 0.5A charge.

I am working on an iPad 7th generation 2197 from >2019 with no / limited charging and no boot issues. It is a refurbished purchase made in 2021. It appears the 'refurbish' company has either done prior motherboard work (all protective component shield layers are gone) or is one of the many trash refurbish companies (little screen adhesive left, component...

trying to recover data from the Toshiba / KIOXIA SSD on the XPS 13 2-in-1
            by francisew
Continuing my saga of trying to recover data from the Toshiba / KIOXIA SSD on the XPS 13 2-in-1. It is actually a single-chip NVMe storage device, including the memory and controller in a single package (not an eMMC as I wrote above). The drive appears to come in two formats. One is the single-chip direct to board version included on the Dell XPS13 7390 2-in-1. The other format is an m.2 22x30 NVMe carrier board that also includes a handful of external power regulation components.

It's unfortunate that I haven't been able to find datasheets for the Toshiba/KIOXIA BG4 series NVMe chips...

            by lcross
This surface was restarted mid update, now it only boots in recovery mode, the thing is that it no longer recognizes peripherals, the usb c port doesn't work (not a hardware issue, usb port worked before this happened) already tried to insert with a usb c to usb a adapter:keyboards mouse, usb memory, and nothing works, touch is also unresponsive, surface keyboard also don't work, when booting in bios same thing and touch is unresponsive, touchscreen is good it was already tested on another device, i tried also to load a fresh copy of windows on a usbc external ssd and still it doesn't boot with...
