    Baxi ignition help

I’m wondering if you can help me solve an issue after reducing the voltage from 245v to 230v now the boiler won’t boot up unless I switch back to grid.
Any good ideas to get the DC side to spark up the boiler will be really appreciated it’s still a bit cold in old Uk.
    Thanks

    explain more please .
and model number and pictures will help here .

all i can guess right now is you are trying to use an inverter and its likely not true sine wave

who reduced the voltage to 230v?
if you did then put it to 240 like it should be.

Burco BCPLSAFWM5L 5 Litre Wall Mounted Automatic Water Boiler With Filtration UK 240v

Does anybody have any experience with these Burco units at all there is no record of them on the forum lol and a proper service manual would be nice. I invite you all to pesuade me not to botch repair it with a 5v relay, read on.

This unit was rescued from a skip 3 years ago, the only fault it had then was no backight display (plus it wanted a new probe set and top seal) but the screen was never an issue you can still see the screen as is and I just use it to get 5 Litres of very hot...

Hi Everybody! I am desperate to obtain from somewhere an ALDE 3kW ignition transformer for 3010 module. It could be even a damaged (burned, cracked, corroded, etc.) board with good transformer on it. PLEASE HELP!...

        Valliant boiler board
        by _ASH_
Hi Guy's, ive got a valiant boiler & these are prone for the control boards failing, causing the boiler to go into a error state.

When you run the hot tap, it goes into the error state but then when you reset, these work fine until next time.

Im convinced that the problem with the boards are something simple like a relay which would cost considerable less than replacing the complete board at several hundred pounds.

I was wondering if anyone had ever done any work or knows of anything to do with boiler boards?

        Many thanks in advance...

        Hello all.

Not very familiar with transformers and did not find the datasheet for this one.

Would these resistance values from Pimary and secondary normal? (check photo in red)
Maybe someone with more experience can help me here
        Appreciate

Honda generator inverter 230v 1900uf caps
        by JFA
I have a Honda generator with a faulty inverter. The inverter is encased in black resin with just the tops of a dozen small electrolytic caps and four 230v 1900uf electrolytic caps poking out of the top of the resin. The plastic cover of one of the 230v caps was burned off but there was no sign of bulging and the capacitor can was in good condition. The heat source looks likely to be from the outside rather than from the component itself but since the inverter is basically unrepairable, I chiseled away and removed the capacitor. I had to destroy the capacitor so had no chance to test it but it...
