This is my sonβs cooler for his semi truck for his drinks the other day it started short cycling ( running for a second or two then shutting down ) and restarting four or five times then going into an error power cycle the controller then it would do the same thing again
Found a 47uf@63 volts double the ESR value of a new one
The 220uf@16 volts same as a new but 220uf@35 volt replacement capacitor
The main filtering capacitor was not replaced because I did not have that was not too tall
Where the 220uf capacitor is some type of switching power supply regulator of some type I have not had time to look it up but this picture is not clear enough for me to make out the part number completely
I did not recognize the part number of something that I have used before
So it works correctly now so let see how long this last
One note the picture of the controller in the box is the new compressor and controller that I bought in case the compressor was the issue why it was short cycling I used the controller to see if it was a compressor failure or a inverter controller issue which it was that
