Hi. Yesterday i was in bathroom. And halogen bulb flicker for 1 second. Is this possible and why it flicker? Thx

It could be a bulb with a broken filament, any vibration and they spark and light up and keep going. I have one I tap with a pen and it works, for 2 years now lol.
Ikea used aluminum crimp connectors in their desk lamps, these are notorious for bad connections. I salvaged 5 out of the garbage lol, I like 10W and 20W peanut halogen lighting, put in copper crimp connectors.
Your bathroom has moisture too, so all connections might be corroding.
What is the power supply? SMPS or transformer? That could do it as well if the SMPS needs capacitors replaced.Comment

This type of lamp with the two small pins is notorious for developing a bad connection!
Either the pins oxidize or the contact receptacle do, or the springs in the receptacle become too weak causing this flicker..."The one who says it cannot be done should never interrupt the one who is doing it."Comment

Yes this can happen for the reasons given already lamp sockets are notorious for bad connections on the pins especially the plastic housing ones the ceramic ones are better but they are prone to the same type of issueComment

You are worried about one flicker? What were you drinking?
It could even be a mains sag or brownout that you saw- nothing to do with the light fixture.Comment

I replaced the bulb only on my Toshiba DLP The bulb is a TB-25. This is the first time I've done a bulb only replacement. Supposedly there is a timer module that needs to be re-calibrated or reset. I don't know where the module is located. I see some vendors selling the bulb with the housing stating module included which leads me to think the module is located inside the enclosure the bulb mounts in, but I didn't see it. Maybe it's inside the plug attached to the bulb?
Anyway - I am seeking information on how to reset this so called module so that the lamp will operate. Apparently... -
Hi,
I have a LUMIMAN Smart Bulb that suddenly stopped lighting one day. The bulb is still detected in the app, but won't light. I've probed around and nothing seems to look off with any of the diodes, caps or resistors. The Bluetooth/Wi-Fi module seems to be working as it's still detected in the app. I even tried deleting and re-pairing the bulb (it didn't light, but I was still able to follow the pairing instructions), it re-paired fine, but still no light.
In diode mode, the LEDs all light up when probed so I'm guessing this means the LEDs themselves are OK. I was expecting... -
Hello. I have an question about my bulb in room. Weather is normal,no storm etc. Today first time it flickered for 1 second. It happened when i close door in my room ( no more air )

I picked up this TV that the prior owner said - just died.
Tested the fuse - burnt. A dead capacitor is visible too on the hot side (CP801). Got the replacement power board (cheaply - used). Replaced the board - the TV turned ON!
Now, about a month later (yesterday) I noticed the left side of the screen was flickering from time to time. That was already happening with the antenna input, not through HDMI.
Also, some glitchiness with a Fire stick on HDMI3 - I hit an app with quick dark screen in stick, the TV goes - no input. Then I had to choose the stick... -
Good picture but has ~200Hz+ faint flicker/strobing over entire screen. Also has a single green vertical line. Can mask out t-con signals (2pins) to stop flicker/strobing but 1/12 of screen will be all colorful vertical lines (single green vertical line is in this section)
Since can mask t-con signal to disable part of the screen and stop flicker/strobing. Obviously not backlight.
Panel has 4x driver boards each responsible for 1/4 of the screen. 3 tabs on each board. Each tab responsible for 1/12 of the screen. the 2 outer most tabs has additional horizontal gate control...
