It might me a 28 volt TVS diode SMAJ28A marked "CG". If it checks shorted it will be bad, if it checks open it is liklely good.

Yes its bad. I checked it . How sure you are about the SMAj28A.
The board i am fixing is very rare and the one i find has 150$ + import charges.

        Re: Unknown Smd Diode probably.

It is hard to make out the exact letters but the logo seems to be for Tiawan Semiconductor I see the first letter is a "C" but is the second a "G" or could it be a "0" similar to this Ø ?

When you say it is BAD do you mean it is shorted? where is it in the circuit? is it a diode that supplies a voltage from a tranformer or is it a protection diode across a supply voltage like a zener?
You say it is in the inverter, I take it you mean the lamp inverter, correct?
Maybe post a picture of the complete board (both sides) and the Model of the projector.
It could also be a non standard or custom part number stamped on the diode for the inverter manufacture

Yes this diode its shorted. I attached the picture to see the circuit.
The boards part number is 4h.1nt40.a02

            but i get no results.

              Unknown diode specs V6 18
              by badcappo
Hi there, looking for a compatible replacement for a diode type labelled "V6 18" from a dead Panasonic plasma TV power source. Possibly a V6 600 volts diode as seen here: https://electronics.stackexchange.co...nt-diode-v6-88 ?
              Thank you ...

Element 32 inches tv (ELEFW328B) Unknown component: Diode or zener?
              by Vincenzo2
My Element 32 inches tv (ELEFW328B) lost it's backlight (confirmed with a flashlight test) and the connector on the PCB (it has one board that has a processor chip, switch mode power supply, and backlight circuit) that has the two wires that go to the backlight LED strips has a very low voltage (28-29 volts) when turned ON, in my opinion.

Started testing components and found an SMD diode or zener that is shorted (even zero fusing resistors read a few tens of milliohms, while this thing reads zero).

I put some pictures here to show that it is labeled "M7"....

Power supply ADP-300ER Zener diode parameters unknown
              by yurik_avs
Guys, I have a question about the ADP-300ER power supply. While the spare parts I ordered are on their way, I decided to once again check the piping chains of the burnt mikruh. I found the zener diode in a break, so apparently I didn't detect it right away. His positioner is ZD41. Can anyone tell me its voltage? It is located in the harness of the IC41 NCP1612A3 microcircuit
Here is an extract from the datasheet for this chip. This pin is grounded until the PFC output reaches its nominal level. It is also grounded if
NCP1612 detects a fault. The rest of the time, i.e. when the PFC...

              by asr
Hello, I am looking for help to replace a damaged diode. The tristar was replaced and a diode was damaged in the process. I have a picture of the diode but dont have an exact donor. I mostly have macbooks for donors and only a few ipad and iphone boards. Diode part number: DSF01S30SCAP
Im not sure where to find the ipad board number. Anybody have an idea where else this diode is used on other boards? Thanks....
