Good day folks. Thought I'd contribute my 2 cents to our community by providing you folks with service manuals and other documents straight from Sony's support site. If you have any requests or stuff you just can't seem to find, drop me a line and I'll see if I can source anything. Don't hold your breath though, because some of these documents are far from helpful, but others are very comprehensive and even have boardviews and scope graphs, so if you need anything....hit me

New products usually lack info more than the old ones, so if the unit is something from the past quarter, the schematic will most likely not be available, even from Sony. Cheers guys.

sony manuals are hard to find .. i do have lots of old paper ones here though . mainly audio stuff . i cleared out a shop years ago and got a van full . not all sony and lots of useless ones for vacuum cleaners etc ..

Yes, they do - "technical bulletins" as they call it, where they describe a particular issue and provide a fix, like a firmware upgrade or which specific part should be replaced.

I could only find resources for 4000 and 4010 models, but not for 4100 exactly for some reason...it could be they're identical. I'll reply to the other thread there.

Forgot to mention those manuals I provide are stamped with my ID so I'd rather provide them privately from now on Forgot about that...
