Re: 120 volt ( AC LED Clip-on Lamp ) 48 volt LED module Hack

    UpDate

I took one of these modules and did a mod to it

has six LEDs on this module so

I cut the trace so now it has two sets of three LEDs in each one so now instead of 51 volts it 26 volts

I found a place where I can get a 29 volt switching power supply to power it

I been thinking about modifying the hole light bar so it will run on 29 volts and current regulartor which easier

I have not found any current regulator that work with voltages high than 48 volts

Update yes I know that this is a very old post but I had put this project on the back burner and now I found a use for it more information to come soon

I am going to use this auxiliary power supply board on this switching power supply that I am taking about in this post

        Update

On this auxiliary power supply board I not going to use it on this switching power supply but I going to do this modification again on another one but I going to only make the output voltage 50 volts not 75 volts and not going to use a very small heat sink and try to mount it in the same case but I need to buy some more of the Schottky rectifier diode for this modification

The output of amperage is only about 1.5 so I do not need a very big heat sink for this purpose and this is only thing that is going to be used on this auxiliary power supply board

Replacing the WiFi module on a vacuum cleaner iROBOT i7
          by AlexVG
          Hi,
I have had an iROBOT i7 with a camera error (error 68) version REV M, year 2018.

I bought a liquid damaged Mainboard with WiFi module, from the same vacuum cleaner, but a different year and a different version (REV G).
(This board does not respond, only the LEDs light up in a circle.
The liquid damage is catastrophic and restoration is impractical).
(I bought this board to get the WiFi module and camera).

The boards are completely different in the installation of elements, even the connector for the WiFi module is different.

          If...

          Sharp LC-60LE810UN Lamp Error
          by Yanleb
          Hi all,

I have this Sharp LC-60LE810UN that stays off and blinks a Lamp Error (1 long flash followed by a short flash, in a loop).

I already confirmed that the first backlight strip has an open LED using a LED strip tester. The other 3 LED strips are fine.

Before tearing the LCD panel apart, I want to make sure that the rest of the TV set is good. I've tested the power-supply/LED inverter board by sending 5 volt to PS-ON, to PNL-POW (that commands power the T-CON board only), OFL and STB pins. The power-supply is good.

          I've tried all the key...

70mai Dash Cam A510 - help identifying connector on camera module
          by m1ch43lzm
          Hi everyone
I have a 70mai Dash Cam A510 which failed after about 3 months of being installed in my car, likely due to heat, i got it from aliexpress so no point in trying to return it for warranty (and shipping it back would cost me almost the same as a new one from ali)
The camera would boot loop showing 70mai logo on the screen, sometimes it would boot fine then the live view would freeze or display purple lines

I already took it apart, and found out that the camera boots fine if i unplug the camera module from the main PCB, sometimes "playing" with the connector...

Light that has a bug zapper in bottom section of light fixture the LED light module took a crap but the zapper still works
          by sam_sam_sam
So I got the bright idea to remove the LED light module from the fixture and put it on top of another enclosure and keep using the zapper

The removal of light module was a successful and now I just have to cut a hole in the enclosure and put a power cord that has an on and off switch on it

You are lucky to get about two years of service out of one before the LED module starts flicking and just stops working because it is mounted on an aluminum plate and these are hard to solder on it and it is not worth messing around with them and especially this one because it has line...

Epson 5040UB Projector No Lamp Strike Stuck in Startup - Blinking Status/Lamp Lights
          by vestaviascott
Hoping someone here can put me on the right track. I'm trying to troubleshoot/flowchart the "internal projector error" on my newly acquired Facebook Marketplace bought Epson 5040UB projector (3LED, not DLP). Owner said it needed new lamp, actually error code blink pattern indicates "Internal Projector Error, call Epson support". Unit is out of warranty as of 8/19

          Here's what happens:

          1) Power on
          2) Blue power indicator lights and the lens cover motor opens the lens cover, light fan noise heard
          3) Blue status light flashes for appx 4 minutes...
