    10 Volt Source

Here is a circuit that uses an LM4040AIM3 10 device ,it is supposed to be accurrate to 0.1%.

I made it to check my Oscilloscope and DVM,s

    Re: 10 Volt Source

That's not really a voltage source. The LM4040 is a series of precision shunt references. Think of it as an ultra-precise low tempco zener diode. You need to choose the series resistor to keep the shunt current within the specified range. Too high and it'll fry. Too low and it will probably oscillate - a sawtooth riding on the approximate specified reference voltage.

Checking the DC accuracy of your meter and 'scope is is a good use. It's also useful as a reference for a comparator (e.g. in a window detector to check whether a power supply output is in spec.

Power Supplies should be boring: No loud noises, no bright flashes, and no bad smells.

Asus X532FL 3.2V at source and gate
      by Lvsitano
I am having some trouble with troubleshooting a Asus X532FL rev 2.0 motherboard, which does not power on. So at the first MOSFET, I am getting 19V at the drain, and then 3.2V on both gate and source (compared with ground). Of course, the 2nd MOSFET's source will have 3.2v at source.

      First MOSFET is a QM3056M6 and 2nd MOSFET is a QM0930M3

I already checked first MOSFET and source and gate are not shorted (drain with source not shorted either). Also I have 1.7V at the LDO rail (measured at the keyboard connector, as the power button is on the keyboard).

      First...

external hd Seagate, broken down the +12 volt and USB 3.0 SATA board
      by gabri2211
      Hi to all 😎
I'm looking for any useful information to repair this interface (I have attached the image).
On this board I read E3215-1215A_4D.
This is the small plate inside the HD enclosure that allows to connect a 12 volt power supply, interface the disk with a USB 3.0 socket and is connected to the HD with the SATA connector.

If any of you have found a burnt or short-circuited component in a circuit like mine, if you have useful diagrams for the repair, or even better a description for the tests at the test points, I would be very grateful.
      in particular...

Need a circuit that switches ON when a 5 volt source drops to 4 volts or less
      by EasyGoing1
I don't know the first thing about where to even start looking for the result I'm looking for ... but what I want, is a circuit ... or maybe a certain transistor ... that will remain "closed" when the voltage at the base is 5 volts, but when that voltage gets to 4 volts or less, I need that transistor to turn on - preferably with maximum saturation. I would prefer that it also does not even turn on a little as the voltage approaches 4 volts, but remains closed until that voltage hits 4 volts.

Now, it would be OK if it had some kind of marginal transition from zero saturation...

      Hello, everyone!

I have some trouble with the G513-MP-GBM board, it's from an ASUS ROG STRIX G713IC-HX041W.

The total current consumption was about 200mA. The 0.8 Volt rail at the CPU was correct working.
But the power button has not been pressed...
      I found some spurious solder between the pads 6 (VRA_SVT) and 7 (APU_PWR_EN) of the PWM-controller, "U66000".
Which can explain why this power rail has been starting without...

Samsung ProBook NP767XCM-K1CA battery connector replacment source?
      by LarrySabo
Tonight I broke the battery connector on the motherboard of this laptop and need to source a replacement. See pictures. The marking seems to read B6u. The sticker on the motherboard reads TCZRFN6X00230 P03AJD BA92-20746B 06 29. If someone could suggest a proper part number and source, I would be very grateful....
