Creating a Testing Jig for TV Repairs -

I was watching a YT episode from Nick's TV Repair and he literally had a test jig comprised of all the internal components of a TV on a wooden board.
I thought that was amazingly smart as I always thought that TV repair businesses had a room of various actual TVs they would use to do testing.
My question is how was he able to connect this generic looking external display to the jig? The connectors are intentionally covered up by cardboards so we cant see it but i wonder if its a custom in-house device or something that could be purchased online?

all makes of tv are different, it's obvious he deals with a specific make and series of tv
as for the display, interesting question as the t-con on the wood is not connected!

I think i will get one. I can see it being one most used device I utilize for this hobby.


Here's a video of how its used (while not subtitled its very informative!):

They offer a later generation (Gen8) which omits the built-in display but has a HDMI port so you can show the video on a display of your choice. Its a bit cheaper too.

Exactly! Yes, there are different versions off this TV160. At one point I wanted one, but never gotten one.
There is also a EXV2080.
