    Can Someone help me id this board

    there is very little written on the board if you need more info or pictures I will post them.

    Not a clue - are those led lights in the tubes? at the bottom?

      My initial guess is some sort of data acquisition board. I've worked with old 8-bit PC ISA data acquisition boards and perhaps it is an RS232 version of something similar.

      May help to post a pic of the other side of the board too.

        serial attached i/o

        hook it up to a serial port,
        set a coms program to something standard like 9600 8n1
        and power it up - it may start with a copywrite message or something.

        do you have the tools to lift and dump the rom chip?

          I figured it to be some type of serial board. I have a pace system I could lift the chip but I don't have anything to dump the chip. I was hoping it may be a rs432 board I could use it for a ptz camera. no leds. I will post a pic of the back side of the board

            i think the tubes are for 4mm banana jacks.
            so it's probably some "educational" thing for schools.
