I need a help to identify this IC chip.

Hello everyone, I am trying to repair a switching power supply and have come across this dead component, what do you think it is? Thanks in advance.

Cleaning with ipa, adjust light position and angle to best contrast, focus... what mark/char do you see?

No, your technique is no good. When you work with ic who has difficult label to read, you must adjust position/angle of your light and/or camera objective. It is best to use handheld battery powered lamp for that use, and orbit arround ic while looking to cammera. You try to not get reflection at first place. In one spot you will see much more contrast, and for that point you get sharp picture... in first picture is something visable about label, so it cant be worse after cleaning if you find the right spot. It is usefull to turn off ringlight or other light source on camera to that purpose. After that, you can try one trick with toothpaste, white toothpaste, just spread tiny amount it on chip and rub with various applyed finger presure. Fingers must not be fat. Somtimes it reveal a tiny traces on ic, if not, wash it and try with direct light reflection of surface.
