    Resistors guide please

    HI
Don't know to much about resistors so please someone help
I have a tv power board with two resistors rated 7w 6.8ohms j rated which I think means its got a 5% tolerance.
The two resistor are reading 7.4 ohms just under a 10% tolerance.
    Is this ok ??
    sorry to be vague

Desolder one of the leads and measure the resistance again. If needed, touch the probes first and use the REL button on your meter or substract that resistance of your leads.

No, even if resistors were +/- 10%, it's not normal to be so far away from 6.8 ohm. I would consider more than 7 ohm a problematic resistor.
