Hi, I have a tcon board that's faulty. I have taken on the tv as a project and would like to know if when testing a resistor for continuity am I right in doing so?

No, you need test the resistance of it, off the board and check what value it is by the colour code on it, or the numbers if smd, post a picture of it, or tell us the code off it

Pictures will help. What is it not doing? Blown surface mounted fuse and just have slight glow on the screen and not pictures?

It's a 26c so that's a 18k ohm resistor right? It's a "no picture, but sound" tv. It's made but acoustic sounds but after a teardown the t-con is a samsung.
