    Bias lighting mod diy help

    http://www.staples.com/Antec-Soundsc...product_928661

I figured i could do it myself. I have an led strip that has a 2 wires i got off ebay for a few bucks with about 9 leds. I guess i could buy a usb cable and cut the end off, which wires would i use when i cut?

Also i wanted to do it for my TV as well which obviously doesnt have a usb port near it, any suggestions on that? I was considering stripping the power cable to the tv and connecting the 2 wires. Or something else.

Wire twisting tool for small wires - ideas ?
    by Dannyx
Good day folks. Recently, I started doing more and more alarm system installs which involve dealing with a ton of small wires which are part of 4 to 12 core alarm cable. To make my installs as clean and neat as possible, I twist together the individual wires whenever possible to make braids like in the picture. It takes a lot of time and wears on my fingers really quickly, to the point where I actually developed a blister on my index finger from all the twisting. This got me thinking if there's a tool designed to braid small wires like this. I know there is something for twisting together solid...

Lithonia Lighting versus Light of America Compact Fluorescent product quality
    by sam_sam_sam
I have a Lithonia Lighting 65-Watt Gray Hardwired Compact Fluorescent

I also have back when Light of America had these light bulbs available for yard lights

The issue with Light of America was the blast boards had all most certain board failure while bulbs hardly ever fail

While the Lithonia lighting fixture has all most certain bulb failure

So I have modified the Lithonia lighting fixture to accept the Light of America light bulb and see how long this will last

I have only had this light fixture for not more than a year if it...

DC bias is adjusted and is working as intended.

Is my settings on the multimeter wrong ? or should i look for a bad component

correct way to connect bare speaker wires into spring clip terminals?
    by ChaosLegionnaire
i recently bought a logitech z607 surround system. however, its giving me grief. when i first connected it, it only had sound coming from the front right speaker. after a great deal of fiddling and reseating the speaker wires into the spring clip terminals, i finally had sound coming from all 5 satellite speakers.

however, the sound still gets cut off intermittently if i move the speakers, subwoofer or move/touch the speaker wires on the back of the subwoofer. so i wanna ask what is the right way to connect bare speaker wires into spring clip terminals?

    i googled...
