Just a good old Hard Clear?

I think anyone that has read some of my posts, probably noticed that I come from an automotive background. I was very fortunate to do just the harder drivability problems, If I was stuck doing what we call” HEAVY WORK” in the automotive field I would have not stayed with it so long, even brake jobs were boring to me.
One thing I noticed on automobiles when they started having several computers commutating back and forth is that sometimes things appeared to be in what I called the “Twilight zone” everything you checked looked like it was operating properly, But still there were issues. Chrysler products were really bad [Headlamps not working,Maby no windshield wipers or a problem with the HAVC blower motor.]After looking at the systems with a scanner and being able to force systems to work there seemed to be no logical answer.
99% of the time just a simple of what we called a “Hard Clear” of removing battery cables from the battery and connecting the cables together momentarily would correct the problem.
I am really just starting to think about televisions, and it seems that a lot of things have to check out for the set to work.
I wonder with the proper safety precautions observed, if something like that is ever done?
Whatever I do, I consider it a success, if in the end I am breathing, seeing, feeling and hearing!

Panasonic Toughbook HDDs with hard drive encryption - how to reuse them?
    by jasakl
    Dear community,

i have searched the internet but i dont found a working solution for my problem:
I have about 150 hard drives (mostely from hitachi 160gb HTS543216L9SA00) from Pansasonic CF-19 MK3 Notebooks.
All devices had a BIOS Password and HDD encryption enabled.

Now i try to reuse the HDDs, but i cant format them. I already tried windows Diskpart with argument "attributes disk clear readonly" but it says "cant delete" and i tryed several partition and low level formatters (like partition wizard, AOMEI and Easus).
    But all of...

Samsung UN60EH6000F Black Screen, Backlight and Sound Good. Power Cycle Returns Picture
    by Mgiffune
I have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.

I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and
