    Multisim CAD software

Dont know if any of you out there have ever tried any of these Spice based electronic software packages.
Multisim is very clever but can be a bit frustrating when a design does not work.Multisim 11.0 does seem to work a lot better than earlier versions.
I am currently working on radiation detectors ,and would like an electronic model for a Geiger Muller tube. Has any body got a model I can use ?

    thanks

    Re: Multisim CAD software

i use multisim in my digital electronics class... it is vs 11 and i like it.

i tried the SPICE based free ones but i did not like them. FOSS is nice but sometimes you get what you pay for (and i am a linux lover).

you would likely have to breadboard such a circuit...

Yes V11.0 certainly works very nicely.
I have tried other suits like Tina Pro ,but it was not as good as Multisim 7
