    Help identifying Aluminum Electrolytic SMD cap values

    I am trying to re-cap a Tivo unit, but am unfamiliar with how to decipher SMD Aluminium cap codes to capacitance and voltage values to swap them out. Here's what is on each cap

      Re: Help identifying Aluminum Electrolytic SMD cap values

      So I have two Tivo's and it turns out the other Tivo has all Panasonic caps, so I can read them all. the first one has a mix of manufacturers with different codes

      So in the interest of posterity in case anyone stumbles across this in the future and is looking for similar Cap values, here's what I got off the other Tivo:

      Cap #1: 22uF, 35v
      Cap #2: 15uF, 16v
      Cap #3: 220uF, 35v
      Cap #4: 220uf, 16v
      Cap #5: 47uf, 35v
      Cap #6: 1uF, 50v

        Tivo HD will not transfer files ....
        by SluggerB
        Not sure where to post this, thought this might be the best place

        Tivo setup:
        Tivo 1 - Tivo HD, Monthly service (ancient, over 10 years old)
        Tivo 2 - Tivo HD, Monthly service (ancient, over 10 years old)
        Tivo 3 - Tivo HD XL, eBay Tivo with Lifetime service (newer but still old)

        Yes I am the idiot that paid monthly for all these years. I found a broken Tivo HD XL with lifetime service on eBay for $40 (Tivo 3), I bought it, it was a bad power supply, I re-capped it, good as new. So the plan was to cancel Tivo 1 and use Tivo 3 in it's stead. So I...

        Need help identifying resistor values near BIOS chip on ASUS Zephyrus G14 GA402XV
        by skdsp
        Hello,

        I purchased a laptop that the previous user had tried to remove and replace a BIOS chip using a soldering iron not knowing that there is a ground pad under the 25R256JWEQ chip. In that process he damaged the BIOS chip and 3 of the resistors near the IO3, CLK, and IO0 pins. I have programmed a spare 25R256JWEQ chip using a CH341A programmer but not sure what values those resistors should be. If anyone has a boardview of this area and can provide those values that would be very useful for me.

        Attached is the photo.

        Thank you!

        Requesting Help Identifying tiny Aluminium electrolytic
        by AstutePauciloquent
        Hi wonderful people. I have a MS-6315 P3 motherboard with very tiny Aluminium electrolytic capacitors. I've made an attempt to identify them from what ive learned so far they might be

        Aluminium Electrolytic
        G = Series
        10 uF
        16 = Volt
        104 Date code 2001 April? (not really important, but interesting)

        Please help to confirm or correct if i am wrong. Thank you

        Recapping Sony ICF-SW55 - verifying cap values
        by proxneo
        Dear reader

        I am performing a repair on a Sony ICF-SW55, which includes recapping (some) of the SMD capacitors on the mainboard. I am looking for verification of their values. At the moment, I'm 95% sure I've got the right values, but it is hard to find some official, credible or multiple independant sources on this.

        At the moment, I have selected replacements based on the following list of values:

        3 x 470uF 10VDC
        3 x 4.7uF 35VDC
        4 x 47uF 50VDC
        8 x 22uF 6.3 VDC
        1 x 220uF 6.3VDC
        5 x 100uF 6.3VDC

        Which...

        I am looking for capacitor & Inductor values for my TOSHIBA Qosmio X500-110 - mobile graphics - Nvidia GTS 250M Laptop.

        Values for :-
        =========
        PC43 : Capacitor [3x1.5mm]
        PL7 : Inductor [2x1mm]
        PC39 : Capacitor [1x0.5mm]

        Any ideas would be appreciated.

        I can get Capacitor values from nearby components but wanted to know the max ratings also I dont have equipment to measure inductors....
