    Eprom and bios

    I have a card of a brother mfc l2700 dw multifunction on which I think the eproms are blown (it mounts 2) 1= gd25q40bt and another gd25q128csig, the questions are: do I have the chip disp. the 1 is the same and for the 2 I have gd25q127csig is it okay the same? Or you can provide me other mods. comp.?

    Another question for the bios to write on it online I can't find anything but I both took the bios from a card of the same multifunction, only that it had different chips, i.e. w25440clnig and w25q64fvsig, I ask that the bios will be the same and therefore I can insert them on my new chips?

    Finally, to look at the perfect compatibility, should the abbreviations be looked at in their entirety or is it just the first 2 numbers, the central letter and the following 2 numbers? Thank you with all my heart.

      first 2 numbers are the interface, second set of numbers is the capacity < very important.
      final letters also important because they indicate stuff like voltage.

          Hello everyone,

          I recently bought a non-working Asus Zenbook Pro Duo OLED UX8402ZA that was listed for parts only. The seller mentioned that it had no display output but that the charging lights worked.

          When the laptop arrived (without a charger and SSD), I connected a charger and confirmed with a multimeter that it was charging the battery. However, when I tried to power it on, only the backlight of the secondary display came on. There was no image, and it didn’t boot into the BIOS.

          I decided to try flashing a new BIOS, but since I didn’t want to desolder...

          Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
          With original bios no POST, only LED lights
          With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
          Some issues
          A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
          B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

          Things I tried

          Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

          Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...

          I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
          So I thought it was a Bios problem.
          I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....
