You need to edit the program exe with the above offsets, then you are up and running again.Leave a comment:

Re: Need software for Intelligent universal programmer lk48
For the challenge sake, I do like reverse engineering, I've extracted all files from the installations files.
Files:- 'LT**UXP_1320_WIN7.exe', and
- ‘LT**UXP_1320_WIN10.exe'.
Summary:
Extracted files are pretty much similar, 285 files in total, except for 8 different files and 8 files found only in the W10 version.
The most unexpected(?) and interesting detail is the W10 version still includes all files for the parallel port version (including the drivers)!
See full details in attached files.
Advantage:
Anyone willing to force the parallel port version in 64 bits OS has everything needed to complete the task.
Conclusion:
This outcome although unexpected, raises questions about true practical value:
Can't even remember the last time I saw a Laptop with parallel port (well… unless I turn around and look at my shelf. There is a couple, all in full working condition).
On desktop computers parallel port is gradually disappearing…!
On the other hand, old desktop computers with parallel port don't have enough resources to run W7 64 bits or newer.
Thus we end up with 3 exceptions:- Recent desktop computer, with parallel port, running W7 64 bits or newer;
- Old desktop computer running a lite (very, very lite) Wx 64 bits OS version;
- Using a mini-ITX embedded dedicated motherboard (e.g.: ASRock J4125B-ITX);
Therefore, facing the unlikeness of any of those exceptions, I leave it up to anyone willingness…
Reminder:
No USB to parallel port converter will work with the parallel port universal programmer version.
This has nothing to do with the converter brand, model, etc.! Rather the (almost) nonexistent data buffer!
[In fact, to avoid buffer underrun they use a very nasty (outrageous) trick:
- triggering a high priority interrupt continuously.
Anyone using it ought to have seen the outcome: while performing any programming task the computer (almost) freezes.

Re: xp48 programmer
Yes the drivers are embedded in the installation file, but here's 2 ideas:
- use the well known install shield unpacking tools (to be concise look here) (didn't check if mention unshield ).
{ cab files are 49536328 ISc( signature; CAB, HDR; Install Shield v5.x or 6.x compressed file }
- Install the installation file but don't close the last dialog! First take a look under folders:\user\current\AppData\Local\Temp\{F4B3F755-2E4E-46BF-A27D-2AF95FC6FD01}\{53CE7A2F-3A57-40BE-9AC6-0E331CA6AC96}C\Windows\system32\Drivers\LTKP*.sysALL drivers are there
Last step:
Put the drivers on their right places and register them.

Re: xp48 programmer
installing on 32bit or just manually unpacking the installer is a step,
but the real problem is the jungo driver is embeded in the exe.
you need to unpack it or corrupt it in some way.
or maybe replace it if the newer one is smaller.
but i doubt it's smaller.Leave a comment:

Re: xp48 programmer
Took a look at their site and they do mention:
Parallel port: Windows 2000 / XP / Vista(32bit) / 7(32bit) / 8.1(32bit) / 10(32bit)
USB port: Windows 2000 / XP / Vista(32bit) / 7 / 8.1 / 10
and the same sh1t at license page.
Those bastards charge a fortune for the software license and yet they don't want to pay JUNGO for a one time fee to use newer version (latest 16.10).
They're still stuck with version v5.0.5 released in 2002!!!
imho overwriting *.sys files with a licensed newer jungo version might do the trick... (plus writing the ...\Labt00l-**XP folder from a supported win 32 bit version installation).
Alas i don't even know if only the last step is need (not tested) providing you also copy & paste the *.sys files to the %windir%\system32\drivers\ folder.
P.S.: I'm still thinking these should be moved to the 'original thread' where it'll be more helpful...!

Re: xp48 programmer
only a mod can do that.
it does explain that arguement we had over wether they had removed the parallel port version or not.
i was unpacking it with win7 64bit and you obviously had the last decent o.s. m$ ever madeLeave a comment:

Re: xp48 programmer
just read some interesting shit at the makers site,
with the latest software releases you MUST use win-XP and it MUST be 32bit or the installer wont install the parrallel port software.
if your on Vista or newer and/or running 64bit it will ONLY install the UXP usb-port software version!
i suspect it's because they use a 3rd party parrallel port driver from jungo.
imo it would be more helpful if you move your post to the 'original' thread.

by STKR123Greetings badcaps community,
I havent done this for a long time and want to start it all again, after some evil and annyoing illness.
So I apologize in advance, if some phrases might sound a bit like gibberish or illogical to you.

by SMDFleaAdding chip support is quite easy,there`s even some instructions included with NeoProgrammer,although its not obvious where they are
and once you do find them there`s a few crucial steps missing.
Extract chiplist.zip to a folder,the instructions are in Import_EN.txt and in Import.xml .Its the xml file where we add the new chip.
Open Import.xml with notepad or any other text editor.In this example i`m adding a Macronix MX77L25650F SPI_NOR chip.
After adding the chip save the xml file and copy it to the root directory of the...-
