Hey all,
From a discussion in the TV forum, I am considering and idea by retiredcaps of purchasing a fluke 101 for my tv testing. I am still a complete amateur at this, and my budget is very limited.
Even with my limited budget, I do want to get a meter that can do what I will mostly need for TV troubleshooting. In that , the need for quick and reliable audible continuity check, and quick and reliable DC voltage testing, seem to be important.
I've read that all fluke meters boast a "latching" continuity check circuit that works quite well and is fast. Would this be true for the Fluke 101? Also, how would the other DC measurements compare to the higher priced Fluke and BK meters?
Thanks!
