Hi, I downloaded the files from here Bedcaps.net Bios section for laptops. They arrive in a folder (Unzip), I bring them back to the desktop and with the XGECU t56 programmer I go to load them but when I open the folder it doesn't find any files. I'm definitely wrong in some passages.Comment

Thus, 'onedrive' and W10 will let you see the contents without extracting them (in fact they're extracted, but to a temp system folder).
Tips to answer you question:
1. download the *.zip to your hard drive (do not use 'onedrive')
2. once downloaded go to the folder where you downloaded it, select the file, then right mouse click and select 'extract'
3. only then the bios_dump.bin file will be visible in the programmer software

by sassanhello,
i want to buy a new programmer mainly for use for laptops bios chips and i'm between the Xgecu T76 and the famous RT809H.
i think that T76 is faster wich makes it the best choice for using Pogo pins,i asked the support if it supports Mec ships found on some Lenovo laptops i didn't get an answer yet.
i would like some ideas and which one do you recommend?... -
by pabloroggeriHello guys. What programmer can I use to program the EC IT8886HE? I have the TL-866II PLUS but it is not in the library, nor is any of the ITE family.

by SpruceI have an Xgecu pro programmer and I am looking for an adapter to fit bios chip from 2015 Macbook Pro 15 inch, Board 820-00168. I have an adapter that is close but the chip is just a bit too big.
Thanks Spruce07-14-2023, 12:07 PM -
by AJ847.63eHi Folks,
Just wanted to clear up a misunderstanding of mine (or what I expect is one). Isn't the 12V rail from the 24 pin, EPS and PCIE separated? IE if I put a power resistor on the ATX 12V pin that is not going to load, thus tell me if the EPS or PCIE rails are fine?
I was recently watching ArIs from Hardware Busters video on how to properly test ATX PSUs without using 5 figure Croma substations.
The PCB adapter he used breaks out the 12, 5 and 3.3V pins from the 24 pin and gives you banana plugs to connect to. That is a bit useless is it not? Aren't... -
by STKR123Greetings badcaps community,
I havent done this for a long time and want to start it all again, after some evil and annyoing illness.
So I apologize in advance, if some phrases might sound a bit like gibberish or illogical to you.
Im trying my best to fully describe what I plan to achieve and hope I was choosing the right sub-forum for my new adventure.
I have a Elitebook 820 G1 and a Elitebook 840 G2 here.
These ask for a password when entering the BIOS, but boot just fine from the internal SSD.
I learned that desoldering...10-29-2024, 06:03 AM - Loading...
