    Troubleshooting - Flow Chart Question

    Good Evening,

    I'm attempting to repair an LG Blu-Ray player that will not power on. I have found a service manual that provides a flow diagram to test each of the various voltages as they are passed from the power board to the main board. My noobie question is, "What dies it mean when it asks if a pin is H?" I've attached the particular diagrams, with the second sheet being the one I need help with. I have good voltage on the 5.3V pins.

    I don't have years of experience like some of the other members, but sometimes I read that voltages are pulled high or low. Maybe "H" stands for high?

    For example, pulling a voltage high might be raising the voltage from 0.0 to 5.0V. Similarly, pulling a voltage low might be lowering the voltage from 5.0V to 0.0V.

      retirecaps is correct, 'H' = LOGIC HIGH, 'L' = LOGIC LOW, it may confuse some people if they use '0' and '1'.
