New (to me) DMM Fluke 87-5 sweet!

Just received a Fluke 87-V off of ebay, from a very reputable seller.
It was described as "extra nice" I would have to disagree, it's friggin mint!

    Wow, what a great meter!

Did you get dinged by Canada Customs or did you buy from Canadian seller?

For the USA members, you have no idea how lucky you are with so many USA ebay sellers. In Canada, we rarely see a Canadian seller auctioning Fluke products. Many USA sellers won't ship to Canada either.

I missed one in BC, I got greedy, tried to change my bid too late and missed it. Would have been about 180.00

This one was from Florida. No customs or GST, seller was reasonable with shipping.
This one was more than I really wanted to pay, $220.00 but it is pristine.

I haven't paid GST on any U.S. shipment in quite a while. I think Canada post is asleep.

Several shipments from California, and a few from other states in the last 6 months.

Hmm, I may have to make an order soon! There was a local guy selling his 87-5 for $60 a few months back. I called him immediatley and then he said he wanted $90 and I said okay. Then it was $150. After that, I hung up.

Anyway, I'm curious to see if your Fluke 77 measures the same as the 87-5 in terms of everyday accuracy wrt to DC and resistance measurements.
