I have a problem with the Bakon 950d soldering station. It worked for many years without a problem, now it warms up to the set temperature and displays the error S - E. I noticed that the MOSFET AOD425 reaches a very high temperature. Where could be the problem?

Re: Bakon 950d problem
There is some information here https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=66287
Sensor - Error
The mosfet controls the element, so it is likely full ON and not turning off due to the sensor error. -
Re: Bakon 950d problem
The fault seems to be with the seating of the element, not the solder tip.

by Zeonalbastai have a problem with thinkpad X1 carbon gen 2 "LMQ-1MB 12298-2 48.4LY26.021"
The laptop was turned off because the MOSFET was not transmitting voltage. After checking it turned out that the gate pin on the MOSFET was the problem, because it was producing an inappropriate voltage. and it was discovered that the problem was with the Think engine, so I decided to reprint each pin, and finally the mosfet could work properly. However, there is another problem, even though the voltage has been supplied to the laptop, it still won't turn on, there isn't even an LED indicator. After double... -

by perzyk23Good morning,
I have a problem with Lenovo T580, which after error code 0288 suggests a problem with the display. I checked the display and it works on another laptop. I replaced the display cable with a new one. I programmed another BIOS (downloaded from this forum) and I still have the problem of a dead display - there is an image via HDMI, and the system does not detect the built-in LCD at all. The problem appears to be hardware. What can I check to confirm or disprove this? I found many threads on the Internet related to this problem 0288, but without specific solutions. Please advise.... -
by SDNarciaHello, I have a Dell 15R-5521, with the problem that the Ctrl, Alt, Shitf and Num Lock keys do not work, I tested the keyboard with a keyboard tester and it is functional, I also got another new keyboard and the computer has the same problem with the same keys. Check continuity between the ZIF connector from the keyboard to the KBC and all pins are correct. I cleaned the ZIF connector and the KBC and I still have the same problem. I reinstalled windows just in case, and it didn't work. I updated the BIOS to the latest version A16 and there were no changes.
As additional information,... -
by funyyHey there,
So I got a problem with my LG OLED TV (OLED55B8PLA).
the problem is that the tv won‘t power on some times, the led stays red and won‘t even blink, just solid red when I try to turn it on. USB devices connected won‘t light up. 1/4 of the screen (left side) shows some green „clouds“ that are getting brighter everytime I turn the tv on and after some tries the tv finally turns on. Sometimes it takes 10 tries and some times 100 or even more tries.
When the tv is on, everything works fine, hdmi outputs, usb inputs, wifi, bluetooth, etc is working... - Loading...
