upload the original Bios to check. It is possible that it be a non-Bios issue such as HDD.

Re: Pegatron - Turbox A15YA BIOS needed

I have replaced the disk but still stays in logo. When i was entering into bios it recognized successfully the hard disk and every usb flash drive.
I tried to reprogram it with the same bios in different chip but it didnt turn on. Then i found a different bios from a different model a15ya motherboard,i programmed and now it turns on with black screen.
I must find the correct bios...

I tried that version of 8mb. It starts with black screen. It is incompatible.

i have a working TurboX (Pegatron) A15YA, i could clone the Bios for you, if you can find me the motherbords' users manual that i need to Upgrade the CPU. It is running on a Celeron
                  B815 Sandy Bridge socket 988B rPGA @ 1,6 GH i beleive.
i have used this second generation I5 CPU
                  i5 3210M Ivy Bridge Socket 988B rPGA @ 2,5 GH

                  https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us...-ghz-rpga.html

and it worked fine, for testing purposes, but to upgrade it i want to use this I3 CPU (as it is cheaper to buy), but i am not sure that it supports it.

                  https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us...-2-40-ghz.html

the seller has told me that this is the batch number of the CPU, but i can't find any website that matches CPUs to their batch number.
                  J23B359

if you can help me, i will upload the BIOS for you. if you know of anyone that has an affordable cpu for me, also let me know

Re: Pegatron - Turbox A15YA BIOS needed

Ivy Bridge often won't work properly in place of Sandy Bridge CPU on laptops. But if the Core i5-3210M worked properly and it didn't shut down after 30 minutes, then the Core i3-3110M will work too.
HM70 chipsets are compatible only with Celeron/Pentium, they will shutdown after 30 minutes with Core i3/i5/i7.
Batch number does not really matter, the Sspec (printed on the CPU package) will tell you what CPU and stepping it is. For Core i3-3110M on Socket G2 it should be either SR0N1 or SR0T4.

Thank you very much! It worked for me as well.
My laptop had just lost it's bios without any shorted parts.
@memoslar I had a similar problem at first, so I had to Load Optimised Defaults in order to continue boot.

                      Thanks again

                        🛠️ MSI GP75 Leopard MS-17E71 – No Display, Deep BIOS/EC Troubleshooting
                        by macabook
                        Hello everyone,

I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
                        🧩 Initial Issue
                        • Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
                        • External display (HDMI) shows
                        ...

                        Casper (Pegatron) A15HC, A15YA, A15HC UMA Bios
                        by ali0606
Hello everyone. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to find this in many sources on the internet.
Available on most paid sites. I am sharing these for you by pulling them from original working computers.

The 15YA bios version works on all PCs, it is the version used only on the card with USB 3.0, which is the upper version of the 15HC model, but it works without any problems on the card with A15HC nvidia GPU. Other versions are the UMA version that fits with Nvidia gpu and OB vga or with Nvidia gpu canceled.

The only difference is that the A15YA version requires...

MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4 - real bios dump from board needed (no stock bios)
                        by DynaxSC
Hi, I have an MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4 board with damaged BIOS and i need a bios dump from a real board, along with MAC, UUID and Serial Number info (eg. a BIOS screenshot and pictures from the board stickers).

I need to reconstruct the bios on my board, based on another bios image form a real board - meaning a bios image containing MAC address, UUID and Serial number. A stock BIOS is not suffiecient, as it is impossible to discover where the MAC, UUID and SerialNumber are stored. Tried with a similar board, but there are too much differences, and the stock BIOS is missing a lot of...

ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo UX8402ZA BIOS
                        by pirati
                        Hello everyone,

I recently bought a non-working Asus Zenbook Pro Duo OLED UX8402ZA that was listed for parts only. The seller mentioned that it had no display output but that the charging lights worked.

When the laptop arrived (without a charger and SSD), I connected a charger and confirmed with a multimeter that it was charging the battery. However, when I tried to power it on, only the backlight of the secondary display came on. There was no image, and it didn’t boot into the BIOS.

I decided to try flashing a new BIOS, but since I didn’t want to desolder...
