Hello to everybody
I have a broken FA180PM111 / DW5G3 DELL PSU which has no output.
While checking several components, I found out that Q6 has 2 shorted pins, so at least this component needs replacement.
The problem is that I can't find any schematic/service manual of the psu, neither of the component.
I can barely see (with a microscope) that the marking is something like SF546, but cannot find any smd relative to this.
I attach photos of the psu and the component as well, so any help would be greatly apreciated.
Thank you in advance!...

Re: JVC LT-55K880 Boot problem - Firmware needed
Thank you very much for the info @Diah. 2 days after my last message, the supplier asked me for the serial at the back of the tv, and then they sent me the correct firmware which worked like a charm. Thank you again for then info and your help.

Re: JVC LT-55K880 Boot problem - Firmware needed
I just programmed the spi with the original file that came with the tv, but unfortunatelly the original remote responded only till the tv boot.
Then the tv responded only with the vestel remote.
Any ideas? Maybe I did something wrong?

Re: JVC LT-55K880 Boot problem - Firmware needed
Finally I managed to fix the tv for those still interested.
Download and unzip files from this link https://www.dosyaupload.com/kxMK into an empty usb stick, formatted as FAT32.
Put the stick on the tv and plug the tv on the mains while holding the "ok" button of the remote.
After you notice the led blinking quickly, release the ok button, and it's a matter of 2 minutes or 3 to boot the new firmware and be back to life.
The only drawback is that this firmware is for vestel, so if you...

Re: JVC LT-55K880 Boot problem - Firmware needed
Thank you very much for your reply.
I have an RT809H programmer, so I uploaded a working file I just found in an other forum but with no success.
The tv keeps freezing seconds after the boot logo, so probably there is a problem with the NAND. Does anyone have the file for the NAND maybe?

JVC LT-55K880 Boot problem - Firmware needed
Hello to everybody
I own a JVC LT-55K880 mady by Vestel, which recently started crashing exactly after boot logo (stucks at a specific channel and no button responds anymore).
The main board is 17MB130S and the panel is VES550QNDL-2D-N11.
Unfortunately I can't find any appropriate firmware to flash it.
The only compatible dump I found was at this forum, in which I could't register (maybe) because of server fault.
Could you please help me either with providing a working firmware...

Re: **************** anyone a member here?
Hello and congratulations to everybody for the great effort.
The only place I could find the correct firmware for my tv is here.
Could you please help me to get those files? Registration seems impossible...
Thank you in advance!
Kind regards

Re: Pegatron - Turbox A15YA BIOS needed
Thank you very much! It worked for me as well.
My laptop had just lost it's bios without any shorted parts.
@memoslar I had a similar problem at first, so I had to Load Optimised Defaults in order to continue boot.
Thanks again

UE24H4003AW bin file firmware
Hello to everyone!
I have a Samsung UE24H4003AW tv which has blinking red light as soon as you plug the power cord, but after a few seconds the led dissapears and nothing more happens.
There is no backlight nor picture/sound, so after checking the led stripe I assume that the firmware is corrupted.
Could you please help me how to find the correct .bin file so I can reflash it with my RT803H programmer?
Thank you in advance!

Re: Philips 42PFP5532D/12 power supply overvoltage
Thank you very much for your quick reply. One of my thoughts was that the VA got confused with the VS because VA should be 65VDC max!
I believe that there is a problem with the RC circuit of the the PWM IC, so there is a higher frequency of oscillation! You can also see the proper voltages in one of the above photos. I forgot to mention that I use the cold ground to measure the output voltages.

Philips 42PFP5532D/12 power supply overvoltage
Dear friends
I own a Philips 42PFP5532D/12 plasma tv which stopped working a few months ago.
When I try to power on the tv set, I hear a clicking sound inside and the front led starts blinking.
So, I opened the case and the first thing I checked is the power supply (the known to many of us, Samsung PS-507-PHN).
At first, I checked for blown fuses and shorted diodes with my DMM, and for shorted coils with the Blue Ring ping tester. All of them looked ok (I unsoldered them prior to testing).
Then, I found many blown output capacitors and replaced ALL of...
