    YAMAHA RX-V375 repair tips.

By BaHa :Hi guys! For the ones who has the RX-V375, after suffering for hours, following circuits, tracks, cables, checking voltages, signals... I finally found out how to "fix" (it wasn't damaged, just locked) mine!! Just press and hold buttons TONE, INFO and POWER for 3 seconds (if it turns on in less than 3 seconds, don't release the buttons yet, hold them for 3s!), after that, turn the unit off on the Power button and turn it on again, it should work fine now (if nothing else is damaged inside). Good luck!

Help Needed: Yamaha RX-V485 Network Issue After Firmware Update (WN9711 Error)

    Hi everyone,

I'm facing an issue with my Yamaha RX-V485 receiver. During a firmware update, the process failed, and now the USB, Bluetooth, and network functionalities are not working. Occasionally, the receiver displays the error code WN9711.

I came across Yamaha Technical Bulletin No. 0103, which describes a similar issue for models like the RX-V4A, RX-V6A, and RX-A2A. According to the bulletin, the issue can be resolved by shorting soldering points (e.g., J260 for RX-V4A or...

Yamaha RX-V485 receiver. After encountering a "version error"
    by sanalelevenstar
    Hi everyone,
I'm having trouble with my Yamaha RX-V485 receiver. After encountering a "version error", the USB, Bluetooth, and network functions have stopped working, making it impossible to perform a firmware update through normal methods.
After doing some research on forums, I found that earlier Yamaha models with similar issues (like the internal error message) could be fixed by shorting or soldering specific pads—such as R896—and then powering on the unit to enter a service/boot mode that displays the model info and allows recovery.
I managed to find the service...

    Yamaha RX V675 sound issues
    by jjne
I have an old Yamaha RX V675 receiver which is starting to develop issues with the sound, although it doesn't quite match up with what folk normally report with these.

From cold, the sound cuts in and out. When this happens the amp is losing sync with the optical input (speaker graphic disappears from the front panel). But this is not resolved by putting the unit into pure direct mode. After a couple of minutes this resolves, although there are occasional clicks from the speakers after that.

At first I thought it was either a speaker relay or the DSP, but I don't think...

    YAMAHA CLP-550 without of sound
    by AlexVG
    Hi.
I have an old YAMAHA CLP-550 without sound. (Some times I can get some kind of noise or distorted sound)
I have replaced all green marked elements, but it gave me nothing.
The IC12 chip LC9116A-105 (red marked) remains under suspicion yet.

But it is custom YAMAHA's chip, and I can't find any information about it.
Maybe somebody came across with the same issue?
Any information will be very useful. I will be very appreciated.
    Thank you....
