that price of $25 is not bad. I do not want to spend any more than that.

I would consider a bad board to salvage transformer.
I need to try to keep cost very low for this tv.

Would it make economic sense to buy the whole inverter and then part yours out on eBay? You could possibly recover your money that way.

Sorry again.

If the inverter is out of stock everywhere, then this would suggest that it is in high demand. In fact I see that it used in several models and brands, including Sony. This begs the question, what do repairers do with the faulty inverters? Do they hang onto the boards for spares?

I went looking through my junk box and couldn't find a spare tranny of the same type. Sorry.

I had this same frustration with a set where I knew the inverter transformer had failed but couldn't purchase a replacement. I justified buying a whole 2nd-hand board (this was a combined power supply/inverter) by selling usable boards from junked TVs and found I was making good money doing that and saving TVs and helping other hobbyists that would otherwise have gone to landfill. And that TV has become one of the main TVs in our house now - a lovely Panasonic.

I cannot find a datasheet on this for cross reference either. It appears the ONLY choice is to find a used board.
