LE32B550A5P eeprom reset

Hi all, i have done a few of these EEPROM resets on Samsung Tv's but i have been sent an AV board from a LE32B550AP (from France) & it doesn't seem to have the eeprom on the back of the board as normal. Anyone know where & which IC it is on this set.

The AV board numbers are (from the label on the tuner): BN94-02693T

I believe it's the Chelsea/Arsenal Chassis

Any help appreciated

Will post some pics tomorrow when i'm back at the bench.
Just thought someone may have worked on this before & remeber where it's at.

There isn't the usual IC1803 eeprom on the back side of the board but there's a coupel of Atel chips on the top side, question is which is which & i couldn't find the S/Manual for this on my usual download sites (Elektrotanya etc).

I have attached a couple of pics of the board. There are 3 Atmel eeproms that i can see on the top side of the board & i have circled them in red.

Google comes up blank for me, any ideas anyone ?

It seems unlikely that you are still looking for an answer 2 years later, but I may have one in case any history buff looks at this thread in the future. Here is a picture of part of the main board of a Samsung LA40B650T1FXXY. The EEPROM you need to replace is marked ATMLH902:

As you can see, it is in the expected and logical place, right beside the main processor, and close to the master copy of the firmware (the IC with the white sticker giving the original firmware type number). It is also inside the rectangle around the main processor, and is one of the possible candidate chips you had identified.

In case it is any help, I'll outline my history with regard to that EEPROM on the LA40B650 in the attached photograph. I was given the TV with a couple of problems: a failed AR15-U on the T-Con board, and also instability in the setup, which frequently changed when the TV was rebooted. After replacing the T-Con board (my inept attempts to replace the AR15 were unsuccessful after half a dozen tries) I focused on the EEPROM to fix the instability. I fitted a new blank IC of the correct type (AT24C256C) and allowed it to load the settings by booting up the TV. Unfortunately it then thought it was in the UK rather than Australia, and was slightly odd in a couple of other ways. I applied the Samygo fix by temporarily jumping pins 5 and 8 of the EEPROM, but this had no effect. Hoping to be luckier on a second try, I replaced the EEPROM again, but got exactly the same result as the first time. I then went into the Service Menu and manually changed the Type (which was completely wrong), the Region (which was Paneurope and needed to be Asia DTV), and the Tuner type which was something odd and needed to be ALPS. When I rebooted, the problems were mostly gone. I did a Factory Reset, and the remainder of the problems were gone except that the time was wrong by 2 hours. In the MENU setup I simply changed the Australian state to the correct one (even though the state it had defaulted to had the same time zone) and the Auto time became correct. The TV now seems to operate exactly like a new one. Since according to the Service Menu it had only run 38 hours, I suppose that is to be expected.
