    Re: CK = CM replacement?

Hi! Write your Model No. of the Laptop.
First search the schematics of the Motherboard (MOBO) of your Laptop with the code number of (MOBO), usually found under the sheet of protection under the Ram socket or other area on superface of Mobo, frome the schematics and after you identific the IC Model, type, Function. Search the Datasheet of your IC, look for model, type(Function), how many Pins and configuratione connectionand. If you not found the same IC, now you can searche anather IC with all these Informations.

You must check from the schematics about pin 18. if it is N/C you can safely use TPS51125.

Thanks. Btw, it's dell inspiron N4030... Do you have schematics? I can't find rt8205b on my junk boards.... And pin18 somewhat is in use because it has a resistance reading when Chip is removed....

                Re: CK = CM replacement?

Sorry, i've measured pin24. At pin18 there's a small caps connected and no resistance reading with respect to ground....

                  @ salawayon

I'm having same issue, TPS51125 is getting very hot. Have you succeeded in replacing this regulator? Thanks
