    Bliss A-394 300W SFX

I've been trying to find a good SFX PSU with a 60mm fan. I think this may be exactly what I've been after.

The primary caps are 680uF Su'Scon (I know, not a great brand, but primaries rarely fail). Secondaries were a mix of Jun Fu and Fulltec, but I re-capped with Nichicon HE and Panny FC. It has two fans, a front and back (a bit like an antec smartpower). Both are temp. Controlled 60mm jamicons. It has a rectifier, rather than the 4-diode treatment and no missing components. The heatsinks are huge for an SFX (bigger than I see in some ATX PSUs), same with the transformers.

It's hard to read the numbers on the parts, given how crowded it is in there, although I was able to make out "GK2JC" on the primary switchers.

It looks like a Channel-Well OEM, as "CWT" appears in the part numbers on both transformers.

No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards

That's what I thought. CWT builds are usually good, although they are sometimes let down by the caps (like the PSUs they built for antec). Given that the fans are temp controlled, and don't even spin for the first couple of minutes, they shouldn't fail until the PC I plan on powering with it is well and truely obsolete.

Oops. I just realised I forgot to include a shot of the label. I don't think 300W is an awful lot to ask out of it, so I think it could probably do it. Correct me if I'm wrong.

If it comes out of CWT there is a very good chance it will do 300W. This looks like it is from their ISO lineup by those choices of caps. Usually the worst grade caps found in a real CWT model are teapo. Though they could have easily dipped into their crap cap bins for this one, especially when the buyer wants a low price.

RTX3090 working fine but fans not spinning
            by emil_t
Hello guys. I have a problem with a PNY XLR8 GAMING RTX3090 graphics card. The problem is that it displays and works fine, but the fans don't spin at all. The problem occurred when someone else removed the fans in order to clean it and broke one of the fan connectors. He replaced it himself and after that, it wasn't working anymore. I guess he damaged something else in the process. What i have done so far: I found 2 capacitors next to the connector that were in a bad shape, he must have touched them with his tools - they weren't shorted, but i replaced them with similar ones from a similar card....

            Good Afternoon, Good People.

I know this will be an elementary little project for most if not all of you, but I thought I would write a post and get put on track, rather than bumbling my way through it with all kinds of trials and errors.

I REALLY would appreciate y'alls help.

This is the problem - My wife and I purchased a big ol Victorian/Colonial House in NYC two years ago. The kitchen is surrounded on 3 sides by exterior walls, there is also a 1/4 of the kitchen floor (ceramic tiles) that has a crawl space underneath, and the kitchen gets FREEZING cold...

my Xiaomi Notebook Pro X laptop fans work like crazy for no reason
            by sda sad
Hope this is the right place, someone can help me.
My laptop started having a really strange problem....
When I turn it on the fans start working at a crazy rate and with random breaks...
They can work for say 10 seconds and stop for 2 seconds and then turn on again for 5 etc...
And it's from 0 to 100%. I tried to install AIDA and did the processor chip test and the graphics did not exceed 70 degrees and the fans were not even close to working at the power they work randomly.

Dell Precision 5530 15" died to blown chip. Replaced chip and now only get momentary fans, lights, no screen or boot
            by joesmoe91
            Hello,

My Dell Precision 5530 turned off suddenly when I was running Matlab and wouldn't turn on, show any lights, fans, and/or any signs of activity at all. I opened the case, removed the battery and looked at the board with a thermal camera while the AC adapter was connected. I saw that PU1252 was >120C so figured the chip had died on me Got the part number off the attached schematic (see Mouser link below) and replaced the chip. After replacing the chip the board (connected to AC adapter) was able to briefly power on, spin the fans a little bit, and turn on the front led lights....

Spectre X360 DAX38CMBAG0 - overheating fans not spinning
            by magneh
            Hello all

Got this Spectre with an overheating problem.
I verified that the fans start briefly during power up, but never turn on again,
even when stress testing the machine and CPU at 100°C fans dont spin

            Ive measured and I have 5V, 3.3v and 3rd pin 0.
When fans spin during start up, the signal at 0v is at 1.6v.

Probably its Fan2Sig pin and 3.3V is PWM, not sure

Question is , how to fix?
I think these signals come from ITE controller am I right?
            Should I bother replacing it?

            Thanks...
