I would not expect any damage to the output transistors or Q445.
Faults that cause amplifier outputs to go DC don't necessarily cause any extra damage.
Already i checked all the components the damages are found as below

    1.ZD410(shorted)
    2.Q443 Q444, Q417(blown)
    3.R551 and R493(burn mark)
    4.C531 (blown)

Rest of all components i ddint find any damages also i checked with multi meter

I will do test run evening then i let you know

      Re: Pioneer VSX-520-K Protection problem

Hi.. i replaced Q417 with A684 transitor now i am geting -B volt around -50volt and i checked all chanell ther is no dc volt presents..but when i checked SL still ther have dc volt present.here i used a684 transisotor as replacemnt for q443 and q444 ..should i use same part number transistor here?

The correct transistors should be used to replace Q443 and Q444. What is the output voltage and polarity?

Output voltage is 53 volt plarity positive .. also i checked voltage at emitter tied of Q443 and Q444 its show -13volt(negative), but in all other channels its 0.65volt (,positive)

Also check the Base voltages of Q443 and Q444. ZD410 should have about 5v across it. The combined voltage across R531 and R706 should be about 4.4v.
Have you replaced ZD410 with a 5.1v zenner diode? Are R531 and R706 ok?

              Q444 might have a problem.

R531 and r706 are ok .voltage accrose zd410 is 4.47 volt that is same on other channel also base voltage of q443 and q444 are same its -3.1volt but in other channel its 0volt

I used a684 instead of a992 as per data sheet a684 VCBO IS -60VOLT and Vceo is -50volt but for a992 is both are -120 volt ..tjis diffremce will cause transisotr not work?

Im having trouble thinking of a definite reason. Somehow, current seems to be flowing from a negative rail to the emitters of Q443 and Q444 via some abnormal path. There might be a solder bridge somewhere or Q444 might be faulty.

I hope that you are not using acid flux? Are the 2sA684 new parts or pulls?

Also clean the solder joints after soldering. I use a toothbrush and turpentine. Alcohol is good.

It still looks like high PCB leakage. The 6.3v on the base of Q444 doesnt make much sense unless D449 and D550 are missing?

Ok, that helps to make sense of the voltages. The leakage has to be between collector and base pads of Q444. Try to clean it again. Do you have any information about the flux?

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                                            Assuming...

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

                                            Problem

This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....

                                            Hi There,

This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.

After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.

Panasonic TC-P54VT25 No image. A or D board?
                                            by canadaboy25
I have a Panasonic TC-P54VT25 that will power on and prime the display but there is no image at all.

The panel is primed as there is a slight glow from the entire panel. This means the problem should be logic related. The service manual also confirms this and recommends replacing the A or the D board.

I have tried to get the TV to display the test sequence but I have been unable to and I don't even know if this TV has a test sequence or not. I tried following tom66's instructions in post #3 on this thread https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=26790. There was...
