    LCD42V88P Manual/Schematic

    Hi!
I'm looking for manual of LCD42V88P board( RASG7.820.2240) and Power board is RASG&.820.1673.

    Symptoms:
    - When switched-on, power led turns red, after few seconds, it will blink 5 times then off.
    - has complete supply voltage on power board socket XP803 and XP805, except STB pin=2.5vdc.

Any help will very much appreciated.

If you upload good clear straight shot pictures of the top and bottom side of the power supply, and the the pictures of the whole back side of the TV showing all the board; that will help troubleshooting the problems.

          Re: LCD42V88P Manual/Schematic

So your power board is 'RASG7.820.1673', right? I cannot see it from the pictures.
          Not 'RASG&.820.1673'.
Are there label for each pin of the connector? They may have label on the bottom side of the board so we do need the pictures of the bottom side of the board too, the more details you give us the better we can help you since we do not have the TV in front of us to look at.

I cannot read all the pin names on your board or SJ board so you need to provide us those names.
BTW, it looks like SJ board is not the exact match, connector XP803 is not the same as yours.
The SJ board only has switched 16V on XP803 .
            Connector XP805 pins are:

                  Update.

Lift STB pin, voltage becomes 5v( 2.5v when connected.) and Standby LED remains On now(normal standby).
STB voltage is always on. No response from POWER "touch" button.

                    Re: LCD42V88P Manual/Schematic

STB pin is the control signal pin, it is the same as PS-ON, in your case this will turn on the power relay (right next to C848) so the switched 24V , 16V, etc, will run. 2.5V = Main power supply ON, <1V = Main power supply OFF.
5V_S is the 5V Standby power supply to run the main board and it must be working otherwise you will not have 2.5V at the STB (PS-ON) pin to turn on the power supply. Verify that you do have 5V at 5V_S pins.
So do you hear the power relay click sound when power switch is activated?

Yes, relay clicked when main switch turned-on and has 24v, 16v,12v,etc... STB 2.5V but, touching power button, it didn't turn to 0v.

So at this moment the TV is stuck on since the main relay is on and getting all those Voltages. Can you use your remote to turn the TV on and OFF?
Does the 24V/16V/12V goes away when power switch is toggle on and off?

Yes, the TV is On but there's no display or indication that the system is completely boot-up.
24v/16/12v goes off because there's only main power switch option to turn on and off.
                          -Unfortunately no available remote control.
Sometimes after repeatedly toggle ON/OFF switch, just a dimmed backlight.

If the PS-ON is stuck on then you have problem in the main board some where, but the BL-ON signal is present otherwise you will not get any backlights at all, so is the BL-ON signal stuck high too then?

Yes, PS ON is always "high" right after main power switch is ON.

BL-ON signal was intermittent associated in switching main power switch..
There are times, when main power switch turned-on, it has "high" signal, sometimes no signal.
