its a hm70 chipset.. it only supports dual core celeron and dual core pentium
no support for i3 / i5 / i7
it shuts down in 30min with i3 / i5 / i7
100% tested and NOT WORKINGIm Back... sort of...

i tried smdflea bios clean it still shutdown after 30mins. because before this is pentium i upgraded to i3 2nd gen should i bring back to pentium?Comment

put pentium in and "enjoy"...its rather slow but that chipset does not support faster cpus
i wasted days on itIm Back... sort of...Comment

I know there is somebody who can tell me what is happening with my laptop. For start, it is an asus vivobook s510ua with an asustek x510ua motherboard with an intel i5 7200u cpu and 16gb ram.. i have a screenshot from speccy before strange things started.. as you can see the laptop type and bios version x510ua.302.I don’t manually update the bios because i don’t like to having a bricked bios, i know what troubles that gives..
I did a fresh win 11 install, and after the automatic updates, windows rebooted and automatically started asus ez flash..... -
Hi,
I have a serious problem to program the Z590 chipset SRAM with a Management Engine after replacing the chipset.
The new chipset is factory new and is not containing any Management Engine. Any attempts to program it into the chipset under Windows ends with a failure (eg. Error 20: Management Engine Device not present, or something similar).
Due to the lack of the ME several ports on the board, including all M.2 ports aren't working, booting OS works only on USB. So it's now other way, as to program the chipset with a ME.

Hello, I am looking for a bios insert for the Asus Rog Strix G512LV-HN235T laptop. We are looking for input for both the BIOS and the small chip for the graphics card. The laptop came to me after another service with the wrong BIOS (no serial number, the problem with the meregion turns on for more than a minute). After uploading a few batches, I have an exclamation mark next to the Nvidia RTX2060 graphics card, I suspect one of the 2 BIOS batches is incorrect.
Config:
Model: Asus G512LV-HN235T
Platforma: G532LWS rev. 1.3
CPU: intel i7-10870H
GPU: nVidia Geforce RTX2060/... -
Laptop turning on but no display, current sitting at 0.100A, no flowing, under thermal camera only CPU gets little bit hot (around 40C) later I tried bios in this topic: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...ed-bios-x205ta from Peste and current jumped up to 0.215A a was flowing a little but no display

I would like to program the bios again, to rule out a corrupted bios.
However I run into a size error
The bios chip is a Winbond 25R256JVEN
Used my Xgecu T-48 to read the bioschip (using select chip as type XM25QH256B @WSON8, read somewhere...
