Just excute the setup and you will get 2 files .FL1.
After you must use HxD to build the new dump

Download the exe version instead, not ISO.Innoextract will extract it,you just need to use the latest version and drag the bios exe onto innoextract.exe ,or just run the exe,it will extract to a folder.

      https://support.lenovo.com/lk/en/downloads/ds038334/

See the gquj35uc.txt there are 2 different bios version,so check your bios backup to find out which one you need.

      BIOS ID GQxxxxxx-based computer
(Upper two alphanumeric characters of BIOS ID are GQ)
      BIOS ID B0xxxxxx-based computer
(Upper two alphanumeric characters of BIOS ID are B0)

If you want an older version such as 1.42 GQUJ34WW copy the ID + exe (GQUJ34WW.exe) onto the end of

      https://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/mobiles/

      https://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/mobiles/GQUJ34WW.exe

After you`ve extracted the exe open the .FL1 file with a hex editor.Delete 0-1E7 (length 1E8),
then Select block 0-BFFFFF ,the full length is C00000 which is 12MB,copy and save into a new file. There are 2 bios chips,8MB + 4MB.Check your bios backup to see which is 4MB and 8MB, and if you don`t have bios backups you can check where the 12MB file should be split by opening it with FIT flash image tool, check with MEAnalyzer first to found out which FIT to use,its version 9.5 (tools) .Open with FIT ,the flash descriptor will say 2 chips, then check in the decomp folder, the bios region is 4MB .So now you know to split the 12MB file into 8MB (ME) + 4MB (Region) ,not 4 + 8 . Select block 0-7FFFFF (800000 8MB) ,select cut, open a new file, paste into a new file.Save both.

Thinkpad X1 Yoga Gen 3 ,How to know if the BIOS is corrupted
          by Loki_Fido
Hi everyone, hope everyone's having a great day.

          I have a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Yoga Gen 3 for repair. (20LES3T900)
I looked in every corner and the laptop seems fine. Its pulling 500mA but no display, no noise, nothing.

So I assume its a BIOS issue. I downloaded the BIOS with CH341A and opened it on ME Analyser and didn't receive any errors.
Does this mean the BIOS is fine? making it a hardware issue?

I downloaded fresh BIIOS from the Lenovo site and used Hex Editor replace the Lenovo's BIOS into my BIOS region. But the file size ended up being...

I need a BIOS dump for the Samsung S49CG934SU monitor
          by Habble7
The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.

          Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

          Troubleshooting Attempts:

Fixed: Lenovo P14s Gen 1 (type 20Y1, 20Y2) Laptop (ThinkPad) bricked by a withdrawn BIOS update (r1buj82w)
          by akwky
          Hi!
Went dumpster-diving and found a bricked Lenovo P14S in trash, few weeks earlier. Symptoms - no screen, no POST, no beep, just keyboard LEDs flashing on powerup. Mute button+LED was responding though, and the display self-test was still working (via the key combo Ctrl+Fn+Power held for some seconds, see the Service manual).

Incidentally, Windows 11 have recently started auto-flashing computer BIOS in our region. Even more suspiciously, Lenovo has released a BIOS update just few days before the PC was trashed. About a week later, the BIOS update image has been oficially marked...

My pc updated bios through Windows Update and I was greeted with BLACK SCREEN WITH CPU FAN MAX SPEED. I don't think there is even a screen signal, because it triggers my monitor for a couple seconds and then the monitor turns off. I tried the other outputs as well.
          1. I tried clearing bios, resetting bios, removed the CMOS battery, removed m.2 ssd, wifi, and ram. Still black screen with CPU fan blasting.
          2. I tried using the Lenovo BIOS CD and BIOS USB, but neither worked. At least I couldn't get anything to work.
          3. I could only locate two chips that look like bios chips. Could someone verify this
