I sure like to know what kind of camera/micro scope he is using, very nice and clear pictures. I used aluminum foil too.
It is nice to be service center so you have access to all kind of service info.

Yes, I use aluminum foil from $99 cent store...they tend to give odor, but that is OK for me.......

Do we have same guy as him over Badcaps?

A lots of Badcaps Veterans like budm, ReeceyBurger123....hand by hand, step by step helping people troubleshooting thought out all the necessary processes...... and what happened was.... I ordered the board and tv works good.....Thanks and bye- bye...

For me the most fun part of troubleshooting just begins. Because the cost of tv drop in price and buy the board is cheap than waste your time troubleshooting it, gradually we became a module tech than an electronics engineer.

look! Above 6 TVs had repaired in component level just few necessary part needs to be used. So TV repair still high profit margin business.

Find the probes, lift dust on oscilloscope, let's do it.

ive got a 20 mgz oscilloscope 2 ch but still need to see if it works correctly and learn how to use it etc (just been watching some videos on it today) will also need to order some more probes as the ones i had delivered have hooks on the ends not points/probes.

I am not sure I agree with his soldering technique. I would work just a little crude.

He DIYs the longer tips for the probe.

This video shows how we can fit a needle on the oscilloscope probe. With smaller and smaller components, it is increasingly difficult to measure your terminals with conventional test leads. With this adaptation it is very easy to position the probe in the component terminal and, in addition, the needle provides a very secure support preventing the tip from slipping and short between the terminals. After adjusting the needle, it is important to handle the probe with extreme care to avoid injury. After watching the video leave a comment, a suggestion or even a criticism, because your opinion is very important so that we can improve or correct the content of this blog.
