Specifically, in my case, the BL-5B.
Is there any connection between the model name/type of a cell phone battery and it's physical size? I'm trying to pack as much stored power into a GPS Tracker unit, and it takes a BL-5B, but while surfing online I see mentions of other, similarly named batteries like a BL-5C, etc...
I think the GPS unit could take a slightly thicker battery, and the thinking is the larger the physical size the greater the power storage potential so I wonder if a single alpha-numeric increase in the name of the battery mean it's slightly larger. Maybe a BL-6B is 1 mm thicker, or wider, or longer, etc...
