I think ideally you would want a switching power supply that voltage and current that are control able not just voltage as far as simulation the control pin was my thought as well the ones that have the erom pin is hole another story I not sure the best way to work around that one

You would not be able to do two different voltage at the same time as far as I know but you could use this device for more than one device but on the same usb power supply

Or you might have to have more filtering capacitors to get a more efficient output supply plus I might even put a blocking device on each input but use a low voltage drop diode for this application

You could do it without a tab welder but you would need a high powered soldering gun but you would need to wrap the battery cell in water logged rag that is somewhat rug out to keep the battery cell from getting to hot but would drill holes in the tabbing so that you have more contact surface for better joint strength not so much for the positive side of battery cell but for the negative side but do not put the wet rag to close to the battery cell where you are soldering because it would require way too much heat and would not give you a good joint but yes it could be done but make sure that you...

The high voltage diode is very hard to test with a multi meter and the capacitor might be damaged so when I see the main fuse blows I change both the diode and capacitor which works most of the time unless you have a bad magnetron that is partially shorted which is causing the fuse to blow...
