this okay but you really need to test it yourself throughly before making a circuit board or that is the way I would approach it

or do a double side board where your power rails are on one side and the rest of it is on the other side

I bought one recently but this is the first weekend that I did not have work Saturday morning or the sun did not want to cooperate with me but today it is coordinating with me and I run a very simple test on a 12 volt battery pack and it stop charging ar 14.4 volts

I ran this test with a new 12 volt solar panel that has a no load voltage of 19.0 and an output current of 9.1 amps

I do not remember the starting voltage but the charging amps was 1.4 amps

I do not use computer for making an inventory list of parts but this might helpful at some points but because I only have a few places to get parts I remember what there name are and there location where to find them but I really just use part number and look them up for me it simpler

Unfortunately unless you build the device you are not going to know exactly how it will respond in the real world testing because I have found in my endeavors the true value of a device is not known until you test the hell out of it

I want to being with there products are very good quality I have one of there meters but not this model the accuracy of the seem to be decent it reads very close to my Fluke meter and most times it reads the same when I get home I will post the model number

I also have two current clamp meters as well

I would have NOT have any issue buying any of there products because I have several different products from them

You need to preheat the board around the device that you want to remove and then use the hot air gun
If you have a toaster oven set the temperature 300*F or lower all that you are interested in is preheating the board so the heat does not escape to the rest of the board but used an infrared thermometer to measure the temperature do not go by the oven temperature settings because most of the time they are not accurate

Now you might want to remove the compartment that might be damaged by heat first

Or use two hot air guns one on top of the board and one on the bottom...

Not a real big problem to charge lithium ion battery packs it would probably only charge it up 90 to 95%

There is something not quite right about the circuit and being hooked to lithium ion battery because there should be a sensing wire should be between the two battery cells or this nothing but a voltage monitoring ic chip have you looked up the ic chip that it connects to the battery cells

I agree with STJ in post number 12 about how he thinks this device works...

I think ideally you would want a switching power supply that voltage and current that are control able not just voltage as far as simulation the control pin was my thought as well the ones that have the erom pin is hole another story I not sure the best way to work around that one

The only issue that you need to be aware of is that switching power supplies that have voltage and current controls the current usually does not have very good current control below 200 milliamperes it drops rapidly not smoothly just be aware of this issue some switching power supplies that have both voltage...
