hi - i have problem with my svod 4 programmer - when im trying to read kbc ic using i2c protocol - im doing it like soldering wires sda scl + gnd to the points on battery socket using schematic of laptop board - but the programmer see weird chip id like B4B4B4 and when im clicking read it takes very long like 15minutes and then programmer read useless things like the name some FFFF's and B4's - programmer work only when i press "read id" on svod4 app and in the same time i turn on power to the board - otherwise when i first turn on PSU, wait 15sec then svod see this weird things.05-07-2026, 11:16 AM -
Hi folks,
This HP Pavilion Aero 13-be1021AU came to me for a repair. And it seems to have a weird BIOS chip. (Pic attached)
I asked my CH341A to read it and doesn't even know what to do with this. We are both very confused.
BIOS - XMC 25RU128CH10 (1.8v)
What the heck is this? I looked all over the MB. This is the only bios.
When I asked the NeoProgrammer to detect it, it just pops up an empty screen, and asked me to enter the bios number. And when I did, it doesn't do anything. NeoProgrammer showed me just this SPI ID: 204418. Don't know what... -
Hello. Ive got problem with Dell Latitude 3520. After power on, no display and fan goes crazy. Standard job, I exported a clean bios from update via pfs extract.
Steps i done and results:
I exported a clean bios from update file via pfs extract.
1. Build clean bios with clean ME, PMC, PCH in flash image tool.
Result: Dead
2. Build clean bios with no changes in ME, new PMC, PCH
Result: Dead
3. Build old bios with clean ME, new PMC, PCH
Result: The same
